YES-O in action! 🌿💚 The YES O volunteers planted Bagawak cuttings last November 21, 2025! Nature helpers doing what we do best! After a month, these greens will be ready for transplanting.

🌱 Trivia Time! Bagawak is a hardy Philippine plant known for its beautiful purple-patterned leaves. It’s used in traditional remedies because of its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. It also grows fast, is easy to propagate from cuttings, and helps improve garden biodiversity.

Project Rehome: Connecting Owners, Renewing Lives!
As we get back into the rhythm after the long holidays, the YES Organization encourages us to set new goals for a sustainable future.

Project Rehome is an ongoing initiative by the YES Organization aimed at fostering sustainability by connecting individuals who have unused items with those who can benefit from them. Instead of letting items gather dust or contribute to waste, this project encourages giving them a second life by passing them on to new owners who truly need them. This process not only reduces clutter but also promotes a culture of sharing and resourcefulness, contributing to a more sustainable and eco-conscious community.

Our first client has already taken part in this meaningful initiative. A student has chosen to rehome several unused items, ensuring that they are passed on to individuals who will appreciate and make good use of them. This first step marks the beginning of many more positive actions toward building a cleaner, more connected community where sustainability is at the heart of everything we do.

This simple act helps us all contribute to a cleaner planet. Let’s make this year about mindful choices and small actions that lead to a big impact on the Earth! Celebrating Indigenous Month, the Season of Creation, and UN Day on October 16th, 2024, with a campus cleanup led by YES-O President Mr. Rocky Gamilong!

A reminder that honoring our planet and its people goes hand-in-hand. Keeping our environment clean is an important part of creating a sustainable future for all. This aligns perfectly with the UN's call for action on climate change and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to waste management and responsible consumption.
