Batay sa Memorandum Circular No. 131 mula sa Tanggapan ng Pangulo, suspendido ang face-to-face classes sa lahat ng antas sa pampubliko at pribadong paaralan, gayundin ang regular na trabaho sa ilang tanggapan ng pamahalaan, ngayong Huwebes, August 20, 2026, dahil sa patuloy na epekto ng Enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Mananatiling operational ang mga ahensyang may kinalaman sa kalusugan, disaster response, public safety, at iba pang essential services. Ang mga empleyadong hindi kailangang pumasok sa pisikal na opisina ay susunod sa alternative work arrangements.

At bagamat walang klase, Pansamantalang ipatutupad ang Modular/Online Learning upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng ating mga mag-aaral. ayon ito sa DepEd Order No. 022, s. 2024. Mangyari lamang na tayo ay mag-shift sa modular distance learning, upang masig**ong tuloy-tuloy pa rin ang pag-aaral at natutugunan ang mga learning competencies ng ating mga mag-aaral.

𝗖𝘃𝗦𝗨 𝗡𝗮𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗠𝗶𝗱-𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗖𝗼𝗥𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁

Cavite State University Naic participated in the Mid-Term Review (MTR) of the Philippine Fisheries and Coastal Resiliency (FishCoRe) Project conducted by the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Region 4A on August 14, 2026, at the BFAR Provincial Fisheries Office in Naic, Cavite.

As part of the review, World Bank Mid-Term Review Consultants conducted a Key Informant Interview (KII) with the project proponents of CvSU Naic to assess the progress and implementation of the Common Post-Harvest Facility under the Modern and Resilient Livelihood Investments (MARLIN) Subcomponent 2.3. The facility is planned for construction at the CvSU Annex in Barangay Mabulo, Naic, Cavite.

Serving as key informants were the CvSU Naic FISHES Project proponents, led by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝗕. 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗼, 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧, together with 𝗠𝘀. 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗲 𝗠. 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗻, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗔𝗿𝗷𝗮𝘆 𝗕. 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗲𝗴, and 𝗠𝗿. 𝗘𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗘. 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗼. Also present were 𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗹 𝗖. 𝗛𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗵𝗼𝗻, 𝘿𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘼𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨-𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 of CvSU Naic, and 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗘𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗯𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻, 𝙈𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘾𝙤𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧 of LGU Naic.

The review was conducted by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗧𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘇, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻, and 𝗠𝗿. 𝗚𝗶𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶 𝗩𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘇, 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝘽𝙖𝙣𝙠 𝙈𝙞𝙙-𝙏𝙚𝙧𝙢 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙚𝙬 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙨. Discussions centered on the project's preparatory activities, implementation progress, challenges encountered, and other concerns relevant to the development of the proposed post-harvest facility.

The engagement provided an avenue for the CvSU Naic project team to present the current status of the initiative, discuss key implementation matters, and respond to inquiries essential to evaluating the project's progress and direction.

The activity underscores the continuing collaboration among CvSU Naic, BFAR, LGU Naic, and development partners in advancing initiatives that strengthen resilient livelihoods, support the local fisheries sector, and contribute to sustainable coastal and fisheries development.

Cavite State University Naic, in partnership with the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) of Naic, conducted the Training for Unified Regulation and Turtle-Life Enhancement (TURTLE): A Capacity Enhancement Training for Pawikan Patrollers and Volunteers on August 12–13, 2026, at the Daluyan Community Resource Center, Brgy. Malainen Bago, Naic, Cavite.

The two-day training brought together the PAWIKan Project Team, MENRO Naic, represented by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗞𝗷𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗛. 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮, 𝙊𝙄𝘾, 𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙍𝙊 𝙉𝙖𝙞𝙘, and 𝗠𝘀. 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀𝗮 𝗧. 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗻, 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙛𝙛, 𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙍𝙊 𝙉𝙖𝙞𝙘, along with Pawikan Patrollers and environmental volunteers from the coastal barangays of Naic. The activity aimed to strengthen community-based efforts and foster greater collaboration in the conservation and protection of sea turtles.

The activity formally opened with remarks delivered by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗖. 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗼, 𝘿𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝, 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙀𝙭𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 (𝙍𝘿𝙀𝙎), on behalf of the Campus Administrator. Meanwhile, PAWIKan Project Team members 𝗠𝘀. 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗲 𝗠. 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗻, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗗. 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗼, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗔. 𝗗𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝘇𝗺𝗮𝗻, and 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗠𝗮. 𝗘𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗯𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝗘. 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗼 served as speakers and trainers throughout the two-day activity. They facilitated informative lecture discussions during the morning sessions and led engaging, hands-on activities in the afternoon, providing participants with practical knowledge and skills in sea turtle conservation and protection.

Through fun, interactive, and practical learning activities, participants gained valuable knowledge and skills on sea turtle biology and behavior, nest identification, egg handling and relocation, hatchling release, emergency response, and proper documentation and monitoring of sea turtle sightings and threats.

More than a training activity, TURTLE strengthened the commitment of coastal communities and partner organizations to protect Naic's marine biodiversity. It also fostered collaboration among the academe, local government, environmental volunteers, fisherfolk, and coastal communities in support of sustainable and community-driven pawikan conservation.

𝗖𝘃𝗦𝗨 𝗡𝗮𝗶𝗰 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆-𝗪𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻-𝗨𝗽 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Cavite State University Naic joined the University-Wide General Clean-Up on August 12, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, in preparation for the opening of classes for the First Semester of Academic Year 2026–2027.

Faculty members, non-academic personnel, and students came together in a shared effort to clean, organize, and prepare classrooms, offices, work areas, and designated campus spaces.

Through collective effort, the CvSU Naic community helped create a clean, safe, organized, and conducive learning environment—ready to welcome students and begin another productive semester.
