𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐢 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐩 𝟐𝟎 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞

The Montessori Press (TMP), the official student publication of Colegio de Montessori, once again made its mark in the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) held on September 2–3, 2026 at Amaya School of Home Industries, Tanza, Cavite, securing three Top 20 spots in their respective individual categories against hundreds of student journalists from both public and private schools across the Province of Cavite.

Representing Colegio de Montessori, Jenina Molina, Harvey Imperio, and Mikaela Oracion earned places among the Top 20 competitors in their respective categories. Molina placed in Editorial Writing, Imperio in Photojournalism, and Oracion in Column Writing.

The three student journalists emerged from a highly competitive field, with hundreds of participants joining each category.

More than simply a recognition, making it to the Top 20 means that the three journalists have successfully advanced through the first stage of the competition. They will now proceed to Phase 2, where the Top 20 will be further narrowed down to only 10 finalists in each category.

With three representatives still standing, The Montessori Press carries not only the names of its student journalists but also the pride of Colegio de Montessori into the next stage of the competition.

From hundreds to Top 20, and now from Top 20 to Top 10—the battle with ink and capture continues for The Montessori Press.

Ngayong araw, ating ginugunita ang tapang at paninindigan ni 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐨 “𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐲” 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐉𝐫.—isang paalala na ang pagmamahal sa bayan ay makikita sa tapang na ipaglaban ang tama at paninindigan para sa kalayaan.

🌱 𝑶𝒖𝒓 𝑭𝒂𝒓𝒎𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒔, 𝑶𝒖𝒓 𝑭𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 🌾

Our farmlands are more than just places where food is grown. They are a big part of our lives and our future. Farmers work hard every day to plant, grow, and harvest the food we enjoy.

Let us be thankful for our farmers and for the land that gives us food. We can help by keeping our surroundings clean, protecting our plants and trees, saving water, and taking care of nature.

Let’s protect our farmlands today so they can continue to give life and food to the next generation. 💚🌍

FROM WASTE TO PURPOSE! ♻️

On August 17, YES-O successfully completed its first collection and sorting activity for the three July–August environmental projects, gathering:

🧴 10 big sacks of bottles
🗞️ 4 sacks of paper
🗑️ 2 sacks containing sacks

The project promotes proper waste segregation, recycling, and environmental responsibility. Some papers were set aside for arts and crafts, while the remaining recyclables will be sold to support future YES-O initiatives.

🥤𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑶𝒘𝒏 𝑼𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒍𝒔 (𝑩𝒀𝑶𝑼) – Use reusable utensils, containers, and water bottles.
♻️ 𝑷𝒂𝒄𝒌-𝑰𝒏, 𝑷𝒂𝒄𝒌-𝑶𝒖𝒕 – Take personal and non-recyclable waste home for proper disposal.
🧹𝑹𝒐𝒐𝒎 𝑴𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑨𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅 – Keep classrooms clean, organized, and well-maintained.
⚡ 𝒁𝒆𝒓𝒐-𝑾𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒆 𝑬𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒚 – Turn off lights, fans, and electronics when not in use.
🗑️ 𝑪𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒏 𝑪𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒆𝒏– Keep tables clean and dispose of waste in the proper bins.
✨ 𝑺𝒑𝒐𝒕𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑯𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 – Keep hallways clean and free from litter at all times.

⚠️ 𝙄𝙈𝙋𝙊𝙍𝙏𝘼𝙉𝙏 𝙍𝙀𝙈𝙄𝙉𝘿𝙀𝙍:
The YES-O Club will monitor compliance with the Green Campus Policy. Three (3) offenses will be recorded for students who repeatedly fail to follow the guidelines, with corresponding consequences in accordance with school rules.
