FISHCOMP Session 11 was successfully conducted via an online platform, bringing together CvSU alumni and BSFAS 4 students as they continue their preparation for the Fisheries Professional Licensure Examination (FPLE) 2026.
The session featured ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐๐น ๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ธ๐๐ผ๐ป ๐. ๐๐ฎ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป, a 2025 FPLE passer and alumnus of CvSU Naic, who shared his experience and practical tips on how to prepare for and pass the board examination. He also guided the participants on how to approach and analyze examination questions and properly justify their answers, providing valuable insights based on his own board examination experience.
๐ ๐. ๐ ๐ฎ. ๐๐ฒ๐๐น๐ถ๐ฒ ๐ . ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ณ๐ถ๐น of the Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences Department delivered a lecture on Aquatic Animal Health Management, discussing important concepts and management practices relevant to the FPLE and the fisheries profession.
Also joining the session was ๐๐ฟ. ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐น ๐. ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ถ๐ด๐ป๐ผ, who served as facilitator and mentor of FISHCOMP 2026, providing guidance and support to the participants throughout the review session.
Through the valuable insights and experiences shared by the speakers, the guidance of the FISHCOMP mentor, and the active participation of CvSU alumni and BSFAS 4 students, FISHCOMP Session 11 further strengthened the participantsโ knowledge, confidence, and readiness as they continue their preparation for the FPLE 2026 and their journey toward becoming Registered Fisheries Professionals.
