Today, we joined the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) to strengthen our preparedness and safety in times of disaster. Our learners and teachers actively practiced the "𝗗𝘂𝗰𝗸, 𝗖𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗱" procedure to ensure everyone knows what to do during an earthquake.

The activity was conducted 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬, 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬 (𝐁𝐇𝐖), 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫, highlighting the strong partnership between the school and the community in promoting disaster preparedness.

Preparedness today means safety tomorrow. Let us continue building a culture of readiness, awareness, and cooperation in our school and community.

Drills in Action: We Were Ready When the Ground Shook!



At 10:30 AM today, October 9, 2025, a magnitude 4.8 earthquake was recorded by PHIVOLCS with an epicenter located near Pugo, La Union.

Our learners and teachers calmly followed the safety procedures practiced during earthquake drills; Drop, Cover, and Hold!

Thanks to everyone’s presence of mind and cooperation, the situation remained orderly and safe.

This real-life event reminds us that preparedness saves lives. Let’s continue to strengthen our awareness and readiness for any emergency.
