The administration of Balirong National High School would like to clarify and assure the public that the post circulating online allegedly linking our school to a threat of a shooting incident is NOT TRUE. The information has already been verified and thoroughly checked by the concerned authorities and school officials.

The Barangay Balirong and Balirong National High School have already coordinated and worked together to address the matter and ensure the safety and security of our learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel, and the entire school community.

As part of our preventive and safety measures, the school, in coordination with the barangay, has already conducted random security checks and bag inspections to help ensure a safe and secure learning environment.

We strongly encourage everyone to remain calm, vigilant, and responsible in sharing information. Please refrain from spreading unverified posts, rumors, or information that may cause unnecessary fear and panic among our learners, parents, personnel, and the community.

We assure everyone that the school administration and our community partners remain committed to prioritizing the safety, security, and well-being of all our learners and personnel.

For any concerns or information regarding school safety, we encourage everyone to coordinate directly with the school administration or the Barangay Balirong officials for proper verification.

Balirong National High School – Senior High School, in collaboration with the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) Officers, successfully conducted the School Hazard Mapping Activity as part of our commitment to ensuring a safe and disaster-ready learning environment.

With the active participation of our SSLG Officers, potential hazards within the school campus were identified, evacuation routes were assessed, and safe areas were mapped out to strengthen our preparedness for emergencies and disasters.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our dedicated SSLG Officers for their leadership, cooperation, and commitment to promoting a culture of safety and resilience. Together, we continue to build a school community that is informed, prepared, and ready to respond to any situation.
