English Department Organizational Meeting

Agenda:
1. Election of officers

2. Plans of activities for the year (till Dec 2022) like
LAC session,
benchmarking on other school’s fellow department,
Open House/exhibit (of faculty room),
demonstration teaching for the school
demonstration teaching for the district,
INSET for the district,
Induction Rites (with all other departments’ officers),
faculty room’s blessing,
professional sharing on various topics,
privilege speech (any teacher may be given the chance to express something not brutally offensive, unethical, in 10 minutes or so)

3. House rules, decoration, arrangement/seating spots in the new faculty room (with coffee table please)

4. Department policies on academic activities and compliance (submission of documents (grades), data and other requirements)

5. Department’s publication (newsletter, blog, vlog, FB Group, FB Page)
6. Wellness participation
7. Regular bonding activity (weekly or monthly)
8. Department’s community outreach program
9. Department’s emblems (motto, yell, code words)
10. Faculty room’s name instead of the subject, which alludes, symbolizes, refers to the subject like Language, Makabayan, Einstein, Numeric, Entrep, etc.

As we face the uncertainties that have resulted from the epidemic, studying the English language is critical in adjusting to the needs of individual students. As a result, the English Club aims to develop students' learning foundations through events and competitions that will help them increase their camaraderie, talents, self-esteem, and skills.
