The National Service Training Program (NSTP) โ Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) Graduation officially took place on May 17, 2026, at the USI โ Frassati Gymnasium from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN.
The ceremony began with a Holy Mass followed by a solemn processional, setting a meaningful and reflective atmosphere for the celebration. Students, faculty, and guests gathered to recognize the graduatesโ dedication to service, leadership, and community involvement throughout the program.
The event concluded with the Oath-Taking Ceremony, marking the graduatesโ commitment to uphold the values of civic responsibility, compassion, and active community service beyond NSTP-CWTS.

Our NSTP-CWTS students will journey into partner communities for their Community Exposure Program from the month of January to May. As part of our preparation, we conducted courtesy calls and visits to our barangay captains,last January 14 and 15, 2026, a gesture of respect and collaboration that sets the tone for meaningful service ahead. ๐คโจ
With the support of our local and community leaders, we are ready to roll out holistic initiatives that go beyond classroom learning:

๐๐ก ๐ฃ๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฆ | National Service Training Program (NSTP) Students took their final examination last December 7, at the Frassati gymnasium for the final session of NSTP for the first semester.
The program opened with an Eucharistic celebration of the 2nd Sunday of Advent presided over by Fr. Gerome Pelagio.
In his homily, Fr. Gerome emphasized the importance of peace and harmony, emphasizing that achieving harmony with God, others, and oneself is essential for attaining peace.
The students then took their final NSTP examination for the first semester.
In the afternoon, different programs showcased advocacy films based on the NSTP topics such as Cyber Security, Data Privacy, Disaster Risk Reduction Management, Good Citizenship, HIV/AIDS, Voterโs Education, and Peace Education, marking the final activity for the first semester.

๐๐ก ๐ฃ๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฆ | The Universidad de Sta. Isabel de Naga Inc. National Service Training Program (NSTP) held a seminar on Disaster Risk Reduction Management and Hazard Mapping on November 23, 2025.
Mr. Benjamin D. Pasano, DDRM, MSDRM, the resource speaker, began with a presentation on the history of hazards and disasters, including data on previous events such as typhoons and their tracks.
He also explained the difference between a hazard and a disaster, as well as important disaster preparedness measures during calamities.
Following this, Mr. Pasano discussed Hazard Mapping, concluding with a short activity related to it.
In the afternoon, the seminar resumed with a brief icebreaker, followed by a quiz to assess the students' understanding of the morningโs topics.
Groups from the morning activity then presented their hazard maps, highlighting potential hazards around the school.
The seminar concluded with presentations from the various student groups who participated in the hazard mapping exercise.

๐๐ก ๐ฃ๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฆ | USI National Training Service Program - Civic Welfare Training Service (NSTP-CWTS) students gather for a trifecta of insightful topics during their first whole-day NSTP seminar for the remainder of the semester.
Held at the USI Frassati Gymnasium, the morning session opened with a talk led by Mr. Roger T. Magdaraog, MESโChemistry and Biology, who discussed Environmental Protection and Awareness.
He emphasized the importance of fostering environmentally responsible behavior and promoting greater environmental awareness among students, while highlighting the need to uphold the Seven Environmental Principles to maintain ecological balance.
In the second talk about Data Privacy, Ms. Nelia A. Saquillo, Data Privacy Officer of the Universidad de Sta. Isabel de Naga, emphasized the importance of safeguarding information in an increasingly modern and digital world.
โData has become an essential human resource,โ she stated.
The afternoon session started with a quiz on the first two topics.
After the quiz, the last seminar was continued by Dr. Glenda C. Icaro, RN, LPT, of the USI Graduate School, College of Nursing, who concluded the series of talks with a discussion on HIV/AIDS Awareness.
Emphasizing the importance of breaking the stigma surrounding the condition, she underscored the need for personal responsibility and highlighted the โABCDEโ principles of HIV prevention.
The event concluded with another quiz, followed by the Vincentian Prayer and the University Hymn.
