𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻: 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝘆𝗴𝗼𝗻𝘀

𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬:
1. Draw and describe regular and irregular polygons with 5, 6, 8, or 10 sides, based on measurements of sides and angles, using a ruler and protractor.
2. Draw triangles, quadrilaterals, and regular polygons with 5, 6, 8, or 10 sides with given angle measures.

𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬:
1. Identify polygons with 5, 6, 8, or 10 sides as pentagon, hexagon, octagon, or decagon, and recognize whether they are regular or irregular based on equal or unequal sides and angles.
2. Describe regular and irregular polygons by comparing the measurements of their sides and angles using a ruler and protractor.
3. Draw regular and irregular polygons with 5, 6, 8, or 10 sides using a ruler and protractor, and label the side lengths and angle measures to support the description.
4. Identify triangles, quadrilaterals, and regular polygons with 5, 6, 8, or 10 sides and recognize the given angle measures needed to draw them.
5. Explain that accurate angle measurement is necessary in drawing triangles, quadrilaterals, and regular polygons correctly.
6. Draw triangles, quadrilaterals, and regular polygons with 5, 6, 8, or 10 sides using a ruler and protractor based on given angle measures.

𝗔𝗱𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗺𝘂𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲, 𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝘂𝗴𝗺𝗮 𝗻𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗮𝗸𝘁𝘂𝘄𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁'𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲

Mas malapit na sa aktuwal na performance ng mag-aaral ang lalabas na grado sa report card ngayong taong panuruan sa ilalim ng ipinatupad na adjusted transmutation table kumpara sa dating conversion table ng Department of Education (DepEd).

Nakasaad ang pagbabagong ito sa DepEd Order No. 015, s. 2026 o ang Revised Guidelines on Classroom Assessment, Grading System, and Awards and Recognition for the K to 12 Basic Education Program.

Ayon sa DepEd, upang makapasa ang mag-aaral ay kailangang nitong makakuha ng initial grade na 70.00-71.17 mula sa dating 60.00-61.59 para makabuo ng transmuted grade na 75.

Para naman sa mga nagnanais mapabilang sa Academic Excellence Award, kinakailangang maabot ng mag-aaral ang initial grade na 87.70-88.87 para makakuha ng 90 na transmuted grade o ang cutoff para sa naturang parangal.

Samantala, nananatili naman na 60 ang pinakamababang marka na maaaring matanggap ng isang mag-aaral.

Matatagpuan ang dating transmutation table sa DepEd Order No. 8, s. 2015 o ang Policy Guidelines on Classroom Assessment for the K to 12 Basic Education Program, na huling ipinatupad sa nakaraang taong panuruan.

Ipatutupad ang naturang adjusted transmutation table sa mga Key Stage 2 hanggang Key Stage 4 learners o nasa baitang 4-12 kabilang ang mga nasa baitang 2 at 3 na gumagamit rin ng numerical grading system.

Paliwanag ng kagawaran, layunin ng hakbang na ito na paghandaan ang full-implementation ng zero-based grading system sa susunod na taon, kung saan walang transmutation na mangyayari sa pagkalkula ng grado.

Ang grade transmutation ay ang pag-convert ng initial o raw grade ng mag-aaral tungo sa gradong makikita sa report card gamit ang itinakdang conversion table ng DepEd.
