On September 2, 2026, the Institute for Environmental Conservation and Research (INECAR), in partnership with the Department of Media Studies (DMS), presented SULOG 2026 at the Alingal Multi-Purpose Hall, Ateneo de Naga University.

Held in celebration of 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, with the theme "𝘓𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘞𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳"—𝘁𝗵𝗲 “𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙨” 𝗱𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 🪸 Through film and environmental communication, the event encouraged ecological restoration, responsible stewardship, and greater awareness of communities affected by ocean-related environmental issues 🌊

The event was made possible through the dedication and hard work of the Media Studies students, under the guidance of DVCE703 adviser and INECAR Director Ms. Jonaviva Plopenio, with the support of the Department of Media Studies, and in collaboration with the Ateneo de Naga Biology Majors (AnBioM) and Ateneo Radio and Television Network (ARTvNet) 🤝🏼✨

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗦𝗨𝗟𝗢𝗚 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗢𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘀

Students, faculty, and members of the academic community gathered at the Alingal Multi-Purpose Hall on September 2, 2026, for SULOG 2026, a documentary film screening presented by the Institute for Environmental Conservation and Research (INECAR) in partnership with the Department of Media Studies (DMS). The event welcomed the Season of Creation 2026, carrying the theme “Living Water.”

From the film screening to the conversations and shared moments, SULOG 2026 brought the community together in reflecting on the value of water and the need to care for our environment. The event highlighted the call for restoration, responsible stewardship, and climate justice as we work toward a healthier and more sustainable home.
