Advancing its commitment to producing global-ready healthcare professionals, Naga College Foundation, Inc. (NCF)—through the Institute for Micro-credentials (IMC) and in collaboration with East West International Educational Specialists, Inc. (EWIES)—conducted a two-batch orientation on September 26–27, 2026, via Zoom, for over 400 senior nursing students enrolled in the Organizational Human Management program.

The orientation introduced the 24-hour soft skills short-term course designed to prime trainees with essential leadership, communication, and interpersonal competencies tailored for the evolving healthcare landscape.

Mr. Brenn Yulo M. Bacus, Training and Communications Manager, led the session on the IMC's core rationale, emphasizing NCF's proactive strategy to equip students with future-proofed skills that guarantee high employability and competitiveness in the global labor market, while addressing the program's operational frameworks and logistical details for the cohort.

Complementing the institutional vision, Ms. Aimee De Guzman, EWIES General Manager, presented the corporate profile of EWIES, outlining the comprehensive program coverage, course requirements, and practical logistics governing the 24-hour training module.

This initiative marks another milestone in the sustained partnership between the IMC and the College of Health Sciences (CHS), as CHS has consistently leveraged micro-credential frameworks to augment traditional healthcare curricula since the IMC's establishment in 2023.

In three years of strategic collaboration, the partnership has successfully implemented high-impact certification programs, namely Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Word, Professional Business Communication, Cyberpsychology Associate, and Organizational Human Management.

Through this continuous future-proofing drive, NCF fortifies its institutional mission to produce holistically trained, technically proficient, and ethically grounded health-allied leaders ready to navigate complex global healthcare ecosystems with the distinct Tiger edge.

𝗡𝗖𝗙 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬: Pursuant to the directive of the Office of the President, and following close coordination with the Philippine National Police (PNP) and comprehensive security evaluations, regular face-to-face classes across all levels and campuses of Naga College Foundation, Inc. (NCF) will resume tomorrow, September 26, 2026.

To guarantee the safety of the entire community, strict and heightened campus security measures will remain in effect.

All students, employees, and visitors are advised to fully cooperate with the Security and Safety Office during mandatory ID checks, bag inspections, and vehicle verifications at all entry points.

𝗡𝗖𝗙 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬: In light of circulating online reports concerning potential security risks in academic institutions today, September 25, 2026, Naga College Foundation, Inc. (NCF) is taking precautionary measures to guarantee the absolute safety and security of its entire community.

​Accordingly, please be guided by the following directives:

• ​Classes in all levels across all campuses shall shift to online synchronous classes effective Friday, September 25, 2026, until further notice through a subsequent bulletin.

• ​Administrative offices and business operations shall proceed as usual. Employees and visitors are advised to maintain vigilance and adhere to established safety protocols upon entering and exiting campus premises.

• ​Heightened security protocols—including thorough routine inspections of vehicles and bags—will be strictly enforced by the NCF Security and Safety Office.

Immediately upon receipt of the information, NCF established direct coordination with the Naga City Government and relevant security agencies to evaluate the situation and safeguard the academic community.

NCF strongly urges the public to refrain from spreading unverified information, rumors, or alarmist content online that induce unnecessary anxiety among students and families.

Furthermore, the institution reminds everyone that making or sharing threats—even in jest—is a serious violation of law and public order.

: From commanding the streets of Panganiban Drive to the historic grounds of Plaza Quezon, the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) Unit of Naga College Foundation, Inc. (NCF) secured twin 7th Place finishes in the prestigious Military Parade Competition—officially awarded during the 16th Bicol Regional Military Parade on September 18, 2026, as part of the annual Peñafrancia Festival.

The NCF ROTC Unit clinched 7th Place in both the Best Marching ROTC Mixed Company (Male Category) and Best Marching ROTC Mixed Company (Female Category), capping off an electrifying performance against top contingents from across the Bicol region.

Elevating NCF's showcase, the NCF Concert and Marching Band, with the fluid brilliance of the NCF Majorettes, provided stellar musical and visual accompaniment to the commanding synchronization of the ROTC cadets, reaffirming the Home of the Champions’ enduring legacy of culture, discipline, and excellence.

Through its unwavering commitment to producing future-proofed healthcare professionals, the College of Health Sciences (CHS) of Naga College Foundation, Inc. (NCF) triumphantly produced 56 newly registered nurses, recording an impressive 81.69% passing rate among first-time examinees in the August–September 2026 Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination (PNLE), as officially released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on September 18, 2026.

Outperforming the national passing rate of 76.69%—headlining a national field of 28,652 successful examinees across the archipelago—NCF demonstrated its strong academic foundation and clinical preparedness, reaffirming its standing as a premier hub for health sciences education in the Bicol Region.

The Tiger community extends its warmest commendations to Dr. Stanley O. Dy, Assistant Vice President for Health Sciences and CHS Dean, alongside the entire team of dedicated clinical instructors whose relentless guidance, outcome-based pedagogy, and intensive review programs equipped our Tiger Nurses with mastery in their rigorous practice.
