The University of Nueva Caceres proudly recognizes 𝐉𝐚𝐲 𝐕𝐡𝐢𝐞 𝐌𝐮ñ𝐨𝐳 𝐀𝐛𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚 of the School of Business and Accountancy, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management student, as the 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 of Batch 2026 for the University's upcoming 𝟕𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬 on June 19–20, 2026, with the theme, "𝙐𝙉𝘾𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙪𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨: 𝙍𝙤𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙇𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮, 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙂𝙡𝙤𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖𝙣 𝙀𝙥𝙞𝙘 𝙁𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚."

Jay Vhie's recognition as the Class Valedictorian is a testament to years of hard work, perseverance, and commitment to excellence. Graduating with First Honors (1.12), he has distinguished himself not only through outstanding academic performance but also through his active involvement in student organizations, leadership initiatives, and engagements that have created meaningful impact both within and beyond the University.

During Pagrokyaw 2026 and Gawad UNCeano 2026, held last June 16, 2026 at the UNC Sports Palace, Jay Vhie received several major recognitions, including the Presidential Leadership Award, Mayoral Leadership Award, Senator Bam Aquino Academic Excellence Award, Special Academic Award, Outstanding Achievement in Research, Newsmaker Award, Greyhound Excellence Award, Innovative Award, and Malasakit Award.

Beyond his achievements, Jay Vhie has been an active member of several University organizations, including The Democrat, UNC Pre-Law Society, Junior Marketing Professionals, and the Peer Facilitators Organization, where he continuously demonstrated leadership, initiative, and service.

In a recent social media post, Jay Vhie shared two milestones that make this accomplishment even more meaningful: becoming the first summa cm laude in his family and the first summa cm laude in the Marketing Management program after the pandemic.

His journey serves as an inspiration to fellow students and future generations of UNCeans, a reminder that excellence is built through hard work, resilience, and the courage to pursue one's goals despite challenges.
