UNC Electrical Engineering student participants landed third place in the 38th Regional Quiz Show in connection with the 20th Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineer (IIEE) Regional Student Conference held at Sorsogon State University last October 10.

“‎Inspirations na nakapagpanalo samin, definitely the people na nagsuporta at nagtulungan na maka-participate kami [doon] sa event,” said Jordan Agorita, team captain for RQS and a fourth year EE participant.

He also acknowledged the strong support system given by their families, the EE council officers, and faculty—especially their coach for the competition, Engr. Rex Garing, for guiding them throughout the preparation and competition.

Moreover, he highlighted that they were glad that they ended up on a good note as fourth year students.

Jordan Agorita, Jason Cledera, Ivan Furto, and Edrian Zedric Sambo composed the winning team for the RQS.

Further, Ivan Furto (team captain), Raylem Fortuna, Shaina Via De Luna, Timothy James Nano and Jason Cledera also participated in the 24th Regional Math Wizard, in relation to the same event.
