Bridging the cultural gap in any aspects involves more than language barrier. Nevertheless, one of the best ways to keep up with your Chinese Filipino friends or relatives, is to speak in their dialect.
The vast majority of Chinoy still retain the ability to speak and understand Hokkien as second and third language.
