NCF- School Disaster Risk Reduction Management Group

The 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 conducted their 𝐏𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐠𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭 for the 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬’ 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝟏 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟐. In line with this, they coordinated with the 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐤 𝐑𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜 to serve as standby responders during the activity.

Last May 1, 2026 Criminology interns faced a series of physically demanding challenges such as 𝒑𝒖𝒍𝒍-𝒖𝒑𝒔, 25 𝒑𝒖𝒔𝒉-𝒖𝒑𝒔, 36 𝒔𝒊𝒕-𝒖𝒑𝒔, 𝒂 100-𝒎𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒓𝒖𝒏, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒊𝒄𝒌-𝒂𝒏𝒅-𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒚-𝒐𝒏-𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅𝒆𝒓. With the intensity of these activities, the SDRRMG volunteer medics remained alert and prepared for possible cases of fatigue, muscle cramps, dehydration, minor injuries, and other health-related concerns that could arise during the test.

Through their dedication, quick response, and commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of every participant, the SDRRMG volunteer medics demonstrated true service and professionalism. Their presence provided reassurance and immediate care whenever needed, highlighting the importance of trained responders in physically demanding events.

The 𝐒𝐃𝐑𝐑𝐌𝐆 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 once again stepped up as dedicated medics during the 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐑𝐀𝐀𝐓𝐈) conducted by the BISCAST ROTC Unit.

Last April 25, 2026 held at the Grandstand near Camarines Sur National High School – Francia, the team remained committed to their duty despite the intense heat index reaching 40°C. Their resilience and readiness ensured that participants who needed immediate medical attention were properly assisted and cared for.

Through every challenge, the SDRRMG Volunteers demonstrated unwavering dedication, professionalism, and a true spirit of service. Their presence not only provided safety and support but also reflected their passion for helping others in times of need.

Last March 31, the SDRRMG served as one of the Volunteer Medic teams during the Moving-Up Ceremony of the Junior High School. The volunteers were on standby throughout the event, ensuring the safety of students, parents, and guests by providing immediate first aid assistance, monitoring possible health concerns, and responding promptly to any emergencies. Their presence helped create a safe and organized environment, allowing everyone to fully enjoy and celebrate this important milestone.

Last March 28, the SDRRMG Volunteers participated in the 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 as Volunteer Medics.

The dedication of the volunteers to respond amidst the high temperature was truly commendable, as they remained 𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐭, 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐝 in providing immediate medical assistance to participants and attendees. Despite the intense heat, they continuously monitored the crowd, managed cases of dehydration, dizziness, and minor injuries, and ensured the safety and well-being of everyone throughout the event.

Their willingness to serve under challenging conditions reflects their strong sense of responsibility, compassion, and readiness to help in times of need.

The 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 - 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 invited one of the officers of SDRRMG to serve as a speaker for their event held on March 27, 2026, titled 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐒 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐆𝐄 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

The CAF students actively participated in the Basic Life Support and First Aid Training, where they learned essential life-saving procedures such as proper 𝐂𝐏𝐑 (𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧), 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐞 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠, and the 𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. The training aimed to equip students with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively during emergencies.

They demonstrated the correct procedures, guided hands-on practice, and ensured that participants fully understood the importance of quick and proper response in saving lives.

The activity was highly engaging and informative, empowering CAF students with practical skills that they can use not only in school but also in real-life emergency situations.

This session is designed to enhance your awareness, boost your confidence, and empower you to respond effectively during emergencies.

𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐥 𝐁𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚, our very own SDRRMG Sgt. at Arms, proudly represented Naga College Foundation as he competed in the 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐀𝐀 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 held in Daet, Camarines Norte.

Together with the NCF Tigers Weightlifting Team, he showcased not only strength but true sportsmanship as they went head-to-head with top contenders from different schools and divisions. With unwavering composure and the heart of a true champion, JP dominated the competition and secured 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐬 in different categories.

The SDRRMG together with the NCF Clinic served as the official medical team during the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 held at the ST Quadrangle. A total of 𝟏𝟎 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 participated in the event, showcasing their remarkable talents in dance and expressing powerful emotions through their performances on stage.

Throughout the activity, the SDRRMG provided 𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 to participants who required care, ensuring their safety and well-being during the event. The team remained on standby and actively monitored the area to promptly address any health concerns or emergencies.

This service reflects the commitment, dedication, and readiness of the SDRRMG and NCF Clinic in promoting safety and providing quality care during school and community events. Their presence highlights the importance of teamwork, preparedness, and compassion in serving others.

The SDRRMG participated in the National Simultaneous Earthquake and Fire Drill at Naga College Foundation Inc. The team was divided into different groups to serve as the Search and Rescue Team led by Team Leaders Alden Deborja and Salvador Manuel Balid, and the Medical Team led by Julius Christian Abe. Students, faculty members, employees, and staff gathered at the Parking Lot to ensure everyone's safety and proper accountability after the evacuation, demonstrating coordination and preparedness during the drill.

This simulation aims to strengthen disaster preparedness, response coordination, and safety awareness within the campus community. Through this activity, participants practiced proper evacuation procedures, emergency response, and teamwork in handling possible earthquake and fire incidents, helping ensure that everyone is ready and capable of responding effectively during real emergencies.
