Leadership is defined by the power to transform communities with compassion and integrity. 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗻𝗶 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗼, alumna of Universidad de Sta. Isabel de Naga Inc. demonstrates this through uplifting marginalized sectors across the country. Her 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗼𝗱-𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 at 𝗚𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗱 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 recognizes her commitment to leadership for the common good.

Before serving as mayor, she transformed the Office of the Vice President into an effective public service agency. Through Angat Buhay, she reached more than 600,000 families nationwide in education, healthcare, livelihood, and housing. During the pandemic, her office became a key source of medical assistance, health services, and frontliner support, directly exhibiting her commitment to public well-being.

Now, as the first female Mayor of Naga, she continues to promote good governance. With the 2028 Finish Lines initiatives, she drives transparency, efficient public service, and inclusive development. Early results include strengthened public service, better roads, and improved drainage systems, all of which directly benefit the community.

Through tireless service, integrity, and compassion, she embodies the ideals recognized by the Natatanging Likod-Bayan Award at the Gawad Vincentiano 2026. Like Saint Vincent de Paul, Mayor Leni shows that genuine greatness lies in the willingness to serve, listen, and act for the common good.

Today we celebrate and recognize the outstanding achievements of our Isabelinos and Isabelinas at the Gawad Vincentiano 2026. The USI Auditorium is filled to the brim with students, families, faculty members, and guests for an afternoon dedicated to honoring excellence, leadership, and service within the Vincentian community.

As the event continues to unfold, we witness our participants in some of their most genuine and heartfelt moments — the anticipation before hearing their names called, the nervous excitement before stepping onto the stage, and the overwhelming joy shared with the audience. Beyond the awards and recognitions, these candid moments reflect the hard work and determination that brought each student to this milestone.
