We wish 𝗖𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝘇 𝗝𝗿., a 4th-year AB Philosophy: FSIR student, a safe flight and fruitful learnings as he participates in an international immersion initiative that will be held in 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗼 𝗦ã𝗼 𝗝𝗼ã𝗼 𝗱𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗼 𝗞𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗶𝘁, 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗿-𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲, by the 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗶𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰, which unites Jesuit university students for cross-cultural community engagement, Ignatian formation, and leadership development. Cedric is also a sole delegate of AdNU, and along with him is Sofio Joseph Almoneda, a faculty companion from OSA.

On July 25, 2026, the 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗼𝗽𝗵𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 conducted its 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 to bring faculty members together in assessing the department's accomplishments, identifying areas for improvement, and setting strategic priorities for Academic Year 2026–2027. 📚💭

The activity focused on reviewing key initiatives from the previous academic year, formulating concrete action plans, and ensuring that the department's goals remain responsive to the needs of our students while aligned with the strategic directions and mission of Ateneo de Naga University. Beyond planning, the gathering also provided an opportunity to strengthen collaboration among faculty members and reaffirm our shared commitment to excellence in teaching, research, service, and formation.

As we begin a new academic year, the Philosophy Department looks forward to translating these plans into meaningful programs and initiatives that will continue to serve the University and its stakeholders. 🦉🤝
