We commend the UNC School of Law Moot and Debate Team 1 for reaching the Quarterfinals of the previously concluded 6th Philippine Law Debate Championship 2026, held last January 15-17, 2026, at San Beda University and hosted by the San Beda Law Debate Circle.

The members of Team 1 that reached the Quarterfinals were composed of:
- CJ Lladones: 3rd year Law
- Kyle Garcia: 2nd year Law (𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿, Mendiola 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆 🏅)
- Kenneth Orobia : 2nd year Law

We also congratulate Team 2 composed of:
- Jobb Rodriguez: 2nd year Law
- Julia Ann Bascuna: 2nd year Law
- Nick Awa III: 1st year Law

Both teams represented UNC School of Law with distinction, competing against 30 teams from 19 law schools nationwide. Your hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence in legal debate continue to inspire the University community.

The teams were assisted by the following moderators: Prof. Percival Tordilla, Atty. Lawrence Felix T. Garcia and their adviser Atty. Psydi Mae O. Oatemar.

The support from the UNC School of Law and multiple sponsors was also essential to the team’s achievement, and our members are truly grateful for the unwavering encouragement, resources, and trust extended throughout the competition, which greatly contributed to their preparation, performance, and success.
