“To know, to love, and to serve.” This Ignatian spirit comes alive in every act of learning shared with others.

In response to the call for meaningful literacy and numeracy intervention, the Ateneo de Naga University Junior High School Grade 10 Blue Batch began its first Tulong Dunong session, accompanying 153 beneficiaries of the Ateneo JHS Tulong Dunong Program and Project LIFT of Grandview Elementary School.

Beyond teaching letters, words, numbers, and concepts, our Grade 10 students are invited to see the needs of others, respond with compassion, and act with a spirit of service. Each tutorial session becomes an opportunity to form not only young learners, but also men and women for and with others.

Through Tulong Dunong, we live out the Ignatian call to find God in service, to use our gifts, share our time, and walk alongside our partner learners in their journey toward growth and greater possibilities.

From learning to service, from service to transformation.
May every lesson shared be a small step toward a more just, compassionate, and hopeful community.

Magis in service. Companions in learning. Men and women for others.

Bridging Communities and Lighting Pathways: The Grand Launch of the ADNU-JHS Tulong-Dunong Program and Project L.I.F.T.
"Shared Knowledge Becomes the Strongest Foundation for Every Child's Dream and a Brighter Collective Tomorrow."

Today, we celebrate more than the launch of a program—we celebrate the beginning of a meaningful partnership rooted in hope, service, and the shared belief that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and pursue their dreams.

The ADNU-JHS Tulong-Dunong Program and Project L.I.F.T. (Literacy Numeracy Intervention for Future Transformation) were officially launched at Grand View Elementary School, marked by the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in the presence of Mrs. Maria Theresa Ruizo, Principal of Grand View Elementary School, Dr. Annaliza F. Abuloc, CID Chief, and Mr. Rodolfo Virtus, Jr., Executive Director of the Office of Social Concern and Responsibility (OSCAR) of Ateneo de Naga University, who represented our beloved Junior High School Principal, Dr. Guia L. Olin. The ceremony was witnessed by the officials of Barangay Pacol, signifying the community's shared commitment to supporting the education and holistic development of every learner. This milestone symbolizes a strong partnership dedicated to empowering young learners through collaboration, compassion, and quality education.

Living out the spirit of "Tulong sa Pangarap, Dunong para sa Kinabukasan" and embracing the Filipino value of Bayanihan, we build bridges between communities by sharing our gifts, accompanying one another, and transforming small acts of kindness into lasting impact. Through literacy and numeracy interventions, we seek to strengthen the foundations of learning, helping every child gain confidence, discover their potential, and dream even bigger.

This is only the beginning of a beautiful journey. To our dedicated volunteers, teachers, school leaders, parents, and partners, thank you for making this vision a reality. Together, we continue to light pathways of hope, nurture future leaders, and build stronger communities where no learner is left behind.

For the Greater Glory of God!

Service becomes more meaningful when it is shared.

This year, all Junior High School students took part in the rollout of the”Kaagapay Program” the new JHS-wide outreach initiative led by the Ateneo de Naga JHS – Office of the Coordinator for Community Programs in collaboration with Integrated Campus Ministry Office. Across different partner communities, our students had the opportunity to serve, connect, and learn others with Ignatian Principles as their driving force.

As we celebrate the Solemnity of St. Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Society of Jesus, may this experience remind us that being men and women for and with others begins with simple acts of presence and service for others.

✨ The Journey of Compassion Begins! ✨

Tomorrow, the Ateneo de Naga University Junior High School community sets out for the Kaagapay Outreach Program 2026 in celebration of the Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola!

More than an outreach activity, Kaagapay is a journey of faith and service inspired by the See–Judge–Act framework. We begin by seeing the realities of our brothers and sisters through meaningful encounters, judging these experiences in the light of the Gospel and Ignatian values, and acting with compassion through concrete acts of service, accompaniment, and solidarity.

With hearts ready to serve and hands eager to help, our students, faculty, staff, and volunteers will journey to our partner communities to share learning, laughter, hope, and Christ's love. Every smile, every conversation, and every act of kindness is an opportunity to become true companions in mission, living out the Ignatian call to be men and women for and with others.

See with compassion. Judge with faith. Act with love.
Together, let us make every encounter meaningful and every act of service a witness to God's greater glory.

Kaagapay Outreach Program 2026
Serving with Compassion. Walking with Hope. Living the Mission.

Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam! 💙💛

As part of the continuing formation and outreach initiatives of Ateneo de Naga University Junior High School, members of religious clubs—First Companions Volunteer Group, Youth Christian Life Community, Music Ministry, and the Sanctuary Society of the Sacred Heart of Jesus— organized an outreach program at the Missionaries of the Poor and actively engaged with their residents. The activity provided meaningful opportunity for the students to engage in service and to live out the Ignatian value of being men and women for and with others.
