All roads lead to Ormoc City, Leyte as the 2026 National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) fever is officially on! ⛴️🚘✈️

Before the pens heat up, let’s look back on three remarkable years of stellar performances on the NSPC stage, where consistently made its mark in what is dubbed the “Olympics of campus journalism.”

In the post-pandemic era, The Isarog and Ang Isarog have reached the NSPC stage year after year, proving their strong reputation for journalistic excellence.

As the world returned to normalcy, The Isarog secured 4th and 5th place finishes in News Writing and Editorial Writing (English), respectively, during the in Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental.

In held in Carcar City, Cebu, Ang Isarog sent delegates in News Writing and its first team event in Online Publishing (Filipino).

A year later, a historic championship in Copyreading and Headline Writing (Filipino) along with a 4th place finish in News Writing (English), sealed the in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur.

Now, as roads once again lead to the “City of Beautiful People” for , we send our loudest cheers and sincerest prayers to our sole delegate as she aims to defend her title and reach an even higher place on the NSPC podium for , for , and for .

The Camarines Sur National High School CSNHS Special Program in Journalism is now accepting incoming Grade 7 learners for School Year 2026-2027.

𝙌𝙐𝘼𝙇𝙄𝙁𝙄𝘾𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉𝙎:

✅ Has a grade of 85% or above in English and Filipino in every grading period and has a general average grade of 85% or above

✅️ Has no grade lower than 80% in other subjects in every grading period

Camarines Sur National High School will be back on the national stage as The Isarog’s editor in chief Khrystien Angel A. Lacandula successfully defended her championship title in News Writing-English at the 2026 Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) held in Legazpi City, on Jan. 27-30.

She will again represent the Bicol Region at the 2026 National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) to be held in Ormoc City, Leyte, on April 13-17.

Meanwhile, eight other campus journalists from The Isarog and Ang Isarog also won top placements in their respective individual and group events at the 2026 RSPC.
