FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

After two active voting days and a rigorous, extensive verification process, the College of Engineering Commission on Student Elections (COMELEC) hereby officially approves and proclaims the following individuals as the duly elected officers for their respective positions.

Note on Electoral Proceedings: To resolve a statistical deadlock for the final BS Electronics Engineering Board Member seat, a transparent and official coin toss was successfully conducted via Google Meet in accordance with election guidelines.

As the College of Engineering Student Council Commission on Student Elections officially closes the 2026 Elections, our primary responsibility is to ensure the absolute validity and integrity of all cast ballots prior to the release of the final results.

Please be advised of the following critical updates regarding the ongoing verification process:
-Updated Voter Database: The initial partial results were based on the enrollment roster from the First Semester of Academic Year (A/Y) 2025โ€“2026. The Commission has now secured the official enrollment list for the Second Semester of A/Y 2025โ€“2026, which will serve as the definitive baseline for voter eligibility.
-Criteria for Invalidated Votes: To maintain strict electoral standards, votes will be cross-referenced and nullified if they fall under any of the following conditions:
1. The student is not officially enrolled for the Second Semester of A/Y 2025โ€“2026.
2. The individual is not a student under the College of Engineering.
3. The individual is an alumnus whose graduation date has lapsed by one year or more.
4. The voter inputted conflicting academic information (e.g., selecting a section that does not align with their chosen degree program).
