We wish 𝗖𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝘇 𝗝𝗿., a 4th-year AB Philosophy: FSIR student, a safe flight and fruitful learnings as he participates in an international immersion initiative that will be held in 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗼 𝗦ã𝗼 𝗝𝗼ã𝗼 𝗱𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗼 𝗞𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗶𝘁, 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗿-𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲, by the 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗶𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰, which unites Jesuit university students for cross-cultural community engagement, Ignatian formation, and leadership development. Cedric is also a sole delegate of AdNU, and along with him is Sofio Joseph Almoneda, a faculty companion from OSA.

From childhood anecdotes to future aspirations, the Philosophical Society welcomed the new students of Philosophy and Interdisciplinary Studies with excitement and support as they enter a new chapter in their journey.

On the first day of this year’s 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 (𝗢𝗿𝗦𝗲𝗺), the freshies were warmly received by their seniors during the salubong and were informed of the things they can expect from the Philosophy Department, such as the competencies, subjects, and events during the department orientation.

With high spirits and eager minds, they are now ready to take on the new academic year. 🦉🙌

Students from the foreign service/international relations track interned at centers where they conducted rigorous research on international affairs. Lanslee Lapaz, Jovelle Anne Villamil, and Cedric Cortez Jr. joined the team of 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀, with Lapaz taking part in their 𝗪𝗮𝘆𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁. Meanwhile, Judielle Marie Bustamante had the chance to work for the 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘂 𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 (𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗦𝗔).

Our students in the pre-law track, namely Marlou Cerico, Joseph Matthew Ela-Avellana, Lucio Juan Sebastian Palaypayon IV, Jason Rejano, Sean Daniel Rodriguez, and Gerose Santiago, provided meaningful contributions to the 𝗔𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗼 𝗟𝗮𝘄 𝗡𝗮𝗴𝗮 - 𝗜𝗴𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗜𝗟𝗔𝗢).

Through their experiences, they have honed their expertise and showed that philosophy is not just about learning theories but about building the knowledge and skills that matter. 🧩
