The 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 successfully conducted its 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, themed "𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐮𝐬: 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐬 𝐎𝐧𝐞," on 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, at the 𝐔𝐍𝐂 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞. The event brought together all 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 Civil Engineering students for an informative and productive gathering.

𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 included inspiring messages from our speakers and faculty members, the introduction of CE organizations (𝐏𝐈𝐂𝐄, 𝐀𝐂𝐈𝐏, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐈𝐂𝐐𝐒), and the election of 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬, ensuring active student participation across all levels.

The orientation served as a platform to discuss the 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, and 𝐨𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 of our 𝐂𝐄 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐮𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬, 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬, and 𝐮𝐩𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬, ensuring every student is well-informed and prepared for the academic year ahead.

𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐍𝐎𝐖 | PICE UNC SC President Ali Thea De Leon is introducing the organization's objectives, officers and directors, and the plan of activities for School Year 2026–2027.

𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐍𝐎𝐖 | Engr. Willross Papaya, keynote speaker for the Civil Engineering Orientation 2026: “Nexus: Connected As One,” shares his journey as a civil engineering student. He encourages attendees to trust the process and find ways to improve whenever they face struggles.

𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐍𝐎𝐖 | The Assistant Dean of the College of Engineering and Architecture, Engr. Judy B. Tordilla, warmly welcomes the students to the Civil Engineering Orientation during her opening remarks this afternoon, July 27, at the UNC Sports Palace.
