𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗹: 𝗔 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲

Today, December 30, 2025, we commemorate the life and works of Jose Rizal. Because of his writings, the Spanish government saw him as a threat, and he was executed by firing squad on December 30, 1896, at Bagumbayan in Manila, the place of which has been renamed as a park in his honor. His death made many Filipinos more united and brave. It inspired many Filipino people to continue the fight for freedom. Let us honor his life, and let his legacy inspire each one of us.

Jose Rizal believed that education and peaceful actions could help the nation become free. He also believed that young people are important to the nation. Education was very important to him, and he wanted the youth to study hard and think wisely. His ideas still inspire students today. That makes him a good example for everyone.

Jose Rizal wrote books that showed persecution of the country during Spanish rule. His words helped Filipinos understand their rights and feel proud of who they are. He did not use violence to fight injustice, yet he fought with his ideas and pen. He wanted change through truth, learning, and courage. His bravery helped start the fight for freedom.

Jose Rizal's death made him a hero to the Filipinos. He was executed because he was against the Spanish rule and wanted us all to be free from cruelty. His sacrifice awakened the nation. Many Filipinos felt united after his death. It gives courage to Filipinos to fight for the nation's freedom.

Jose Rizal showed that change can start with knowledge. We learn that words and ideas are powerful enough to inspire others. You don't always need violence to inspire people and attain freedom. He used his writing to speak about problems in society. His ideas inspired many Filipinos.

Rizal Day is not just about the past. It is about learning from Rizal's ideas and using them today. Schools teach students about his life and values. People are reminded to follow his example by being brave, loving the country, respecting others, and working hard. Moreover, by being honest, kind, and responsible citizens, we honor Jose Rizal and help build a better nation.
