1. 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

Seating Arrangement: Ensure that all chairs are properly arranged and organized before students enter the room.

2. 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐚𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐬

Strict Prohibition: All mobile phones and electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited during the examination.

Storage: Students must turn off their devices and place them on the front table before the exam begins.

3. 𝐁𝐚𝐠 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭

Designated Area: All bags and personal belongings must be placed neatly at the front of the classroom.

4. 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲

Compliance: All students must wear the proper school uniform.

Strict Enforcement: A strict "No Uniform, No Exam" policy will be implemented.

5. 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦 𝐒𝐞𝐭 𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭

Testing Material: The examination consists of two versions: SET A and SET B.

𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

6. 𝐀𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐬

Standard Paper: Students must write their answers on a one-half (1/2) lengthwise sheet of paper.

Exceptions: Subjects requiring complex calculations—such as General Chemistry 2 and General Physics —may require one (1) whole sheet of paper.

Test Paper Usage: Only the final class scheduled for the day will be permitted to write directly on the test papers.

7. 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐬

Grace Period: Students are allowed to enter the examination room up to 15 minutes after the scheduled start time.

Cut-off Rule: Students arriving more than 15 minutes late will be barred from taking the test and must secure a schedule for a special examination.

8. 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬

No Extensions: The examination will conclude strictly at the designated time. No time extensions will be granted under any circumstances.

𝗔𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗘𝗫𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

9. 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬

Individual Turn-in: Upon completion, students must submit their papers individually to the proctor.

No Group Submissions: Collective or group submissions will not be accepted.

10. 𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦 𝐒𝐞𝐭

Proctor Verification: The proctor must verify which version the student answered and clearly indicate SET A or SET B on the student's answer sheet upon submission.

11. 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠

Delayed Evaluation: Examination papers must not be checked or graded on the same day the exam is administered.

12. 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

Timeline: Special examinations will be accommodated exclusively from September 24 to 29, 2026.

Final Deadline: No student requests for special examinations will be entertained after this period.

𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗔𝗖𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗖 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗬 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗬

Academic dishonesty will not be tolerated. Proctors are required to strictly monitor the room and implement the following progressive disciplinary actions:

𝗟𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟 1: 𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗕𝗔𝗟 𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚

Triggers: Looking at another student's paper, attempting to communicate, possessing unauthorized materials, or frequent suspicious movement.

Action Required: The proctor will issue a direct verbal warning and log the student's name for close monitoring.

𝗟𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟 2: 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗙𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗗𝗢𝗖𝗨𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

Triggers: Repeating a Level 1 offense, passing or receiving answers, using unauthorized notes/cheat sheets, using electronic devices, or copying answers.

Action Required: The proctor will immediately confiscate the unauthorized materials and document the incident. The student will be allowed to finish the exam under close surveillance. The incident will be formally reported to the subject teacher and the academic coordinator.

𝗟𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟 3: 𝗜𝗡𝗩𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗘𝗫𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬: Continued non-compliance after a Level 2 warning or clear, undeniable proof of flagrant cheating.

𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝: The proctor will confiscate the exam paper immediately and invalidate the student's test score for that subject. The case will be forwarded to the Academic Office for disciplinary action in alignment with school and DepEd policies. Any future special examination will require administrative approval.

𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥: All students are expected to uphold the highest standards of honesty and academic integrity. Proctors must ensure that all disciplinary actions are fair, well-documented, and handled with utmost professionalism.

𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗥𝗣 | 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀: 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀

Today, August 14, 2026. Ms. Allysa Janine Aguillon, the Editor-in-Chief of SIYAP. Embrace Pasacao National High School with her presence, invited to be one of the guest speakers to give a word before the campus journalists of The Hillside Frontpage at Ang Dalisdis Publication. Her mission was clear: not merely to impart knowledge, but to share her experiences that will help the campus journalists, mark upon the hearts of the next generation of writers.

She opened her talk by opening the world of journalism to the campus journalists of The Hillside Frontpage. She described it as casting a line into the vast ocean of human experience—each question a carefully baited hook, hoping to reel in a story never told before. Meanwhile, dedication was the real primary source of her success talk. Going back to her former school is very nostalgic, especially she is the former Associate Editor of The Hillside Frontpage, every corner of the room reminds her how the campus and the publication shaped her into what she is now.

But beyond the craft, she bared her own journey. For her, journalism is a mirror reflecting the road she has walked—from just a girl who loved writing to a campus journalist. She recounted two stories that defined her path: truth and the world. Her personal stories were the anchor that grounded everything she taught. She brings the pride of SIYAP Publication with her.

Theory without practice is hollow; practice without heart is empty. Her journey proved that the pen is not simply a weapon—it is a bridge connecting hope and truth, sorrow and joy.

#𝗕𝗨𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗢𝗡8 | 𝗔𝗖𝗟𝗖 𝗛𝗔𝗪𝗞𝗦 𝗩𝗦 𝗗𝗢𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗬𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗦

The ACLC Hawks team managed to secure another victory as they defeated the Dominicans Greyhounds with a score of 60–51 in the BUCAL showdown. The game started right away at 4:00 p. m. on August 8, 2025, at the UNC Sports Palace.

Right from the start, the Aclc Hawks were determined to lead the game, and they closed the first quarter with a strong score of 18–13. The Dominican Greyhounds fought back in the second quarter but ACLC Hawks maintained the lead at halftime, 33–27. In the break, the game was full of entertainment as fun games were organized for the audience. In the second half, the action was intense, with both teams giving it their all and keeping the audience engaged.

The third quarter was particularly remarkable, as John Andrei Pasahol, playing against his former team, delivered a brilliant performance, leading his team to a 51–36 score by the end of the third quarter. The fourth quarter was no less intense as the game was tied several times, but unfortunately, Aldrei Tabilog was injured during the game.

Aldrei Tabilog has been named the Player of the Game as he scored a double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds and added 6 steals and 3 block. He’s also the Defensive Player of the game. He remained in the game despite his injury and made a significant contribution to his team’s victory. John Andrei Pasahol has received the High-Impact Play of the Game award for his tremendous efforts in leading his team to victory over his former team.

The Siyap Publication took a definitive step toward media excellence as The WritePath Seminar successfully concluded on August 8, 2026, at the JH Building. Spearheaded by Editor-in-Chief Allysa Janine Aguillon, the intensive journalism seminar aimed to sharpen the core competencies of aspiring student writers and media practitioners. The event provided a dynamic platform for participants to master modern storytelling techniques, understand the evolving responsibilities of the press, and align their skills with current industry standards.

The seminar featured a distinguished lineup of guest speakers who provided valuable insights during specialized breakout sessions. Krisha Mae Vasquez opened the training with an engaging Writing Session focused on impactful reporting and narrative structure, which was followed by Nicole Lazado Duyao, who led the Graphics and Layout Session to teach visual storytelling and modern publication design. Concluding the event, Bernadette Sanjuan steered the Broadcasting Session, equipping attendees with essential techniques for on-air delivery, scriptwriting, and audio-visual production.

As the event drew to a close, participants left with sharpened skills and a renewed passion for truth-telling in the digital age. By bridging the gap between traditional reporting and modern multimedia production, the seminar successfully empowered the next generation of campus journalists to write their own paths toward impactful media leadership. Ultimately, this training solidified the publication's commitment to raising the benchmark for student journalism and community storytelling.
