A meaningful milestone unfolded on August 1, 2026, as the inaugural Peer Facilitators’ Group 1st Pinning Ceremony was held with the theme, “Leading with Compassion, Honoring Peer Facilitators’ Excellence.” The ceremony highlighted the formal presentation and pinning of the Peer Facilitators, symbolizing their readiness to serve with empathy, integrity, and dedication. The event was further highlighted by the Pledge of Commitment, where each facilitator affirmed their responsibility to uphold the values of compassionate leadership and peer support, marking the beginning of their journey in making a positive impact within the community.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | “Your goal is not only to wear a pin or hold a position [but] to become someone whose presence makes it easier for others to ask for help,” said Ms Elizabeth Rodriguez, former Peer Facilitator’s Group (PFG) Co-Adviser.

The 1st Peer Facilitator’s Group Pinning Ceremony took place today, August 1, 2026.

With the theme “Leading with Compassion, Honoring Peer Facilitator’s Excellence”, the ceremony highlighted the presentation and pinning of Peer Facilitators, followed by pledge of commitment.

The event symbolized their achievement as members and calls them to serve with empathy and excellence.

Ms. Marian Garinga, Ms. Maf Ducut, and Ms. Gwyneth Guerina, members of Peer Facilitator’s Group, also testified the support, confidence and opportunities that the group offered to their college journey.

This was followed by an inspirational message from Mr. Glenn Bongalos, PFG Former Adviser, and Ms. Patricia Lois Roldan, the current PFG adviser, who both offered their support to the continuous triumph of the Peer Facilitator’s Group.
