Known for his prolific writing, our artist's plays can be found in various anthologies, including "13 Plays" (1947), "8 Other Plays" (1952), and "Retribution and eight other selected plays" (1990). A family memoir, "The Guerreros of Ermita" (1988), offers a glimpse into his personal life. Any guesses so far?

This National Artist played a pivotal role in shaping the future of Philippine performing arts.
