We are excited to announce a variety of engaging activities as part of our events:

📓Newly Acquired Books Exhibit: Join us from November 24 to 27 to explore a diverse selection of newly acquired books. This exhibit will showcase the latest additions to our collection, providing you with an opportunity to discover new authors and genres.

🎬Book Week Flix: Also taking place from November 24 to 27, Book Week Flix will feature a selection of films adapted from popular books. Enjoy movie screenings that celebrate literary works while engaging in discussions about the adaptation process.

📚Book Spine Poetry Contest and Make Your Mark Contest: Don't miss your chance to participate! The submission deadline for both contests is November 26. Create unique poetry using book titles in the Book Spine Poetry Contest, or express your artistic flair in the Make Your Mark Contest.

📰Blackout Poetry Contest: On November 26, unleash your creativity by crafting striking pieces of blackout poetry. This contest invites you to transform pages of existing text into new works of art.

🎥BookTok Contest: We invite you to participate in our BookTok event on November 27! Share your favorite book recommendations and creative book-related videos—be it reviews, challenges, or skits featuring your beloved characters. Help us promote our library and inspire fellow readers!

📺Read-a-thon Contest: Mark your calendars for November 28! Participate in our on-the-spot Read-a-thon Contest, where you can test your knowledge of current events. This fun event offers prizes for top performers, so come ready to read and compete!

📒📘Book Donation and ICT Training: On November 29, we will hold a book donation event at West Coast National High School in Dominorog, Calabanga. If you have gently used books that you would like to donate, please drop them off at the library from November 24 to November 28. Additionally, there will be ICT (Information and Communication Technology) training sessions for Grade 12 students from West Coast National High School.

𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙙, 𝙍𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙, 𝙍𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚, 𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘆

Tangan ang layuning panliterasiya at edukasyon, inilunsad ngayong araw ang isang Book Donation Drive na naging instrumento upang masimulan ang kauna-unahang Barangay Reading Center sa Casuray, Magarao, Camarines Sur.

Ang programang ito ay isa sa mga adhikain ng lokal na opisyales ng barangay at ng kanilang Sangguniang Kabataan upang magbigay ng positibong libangan, interes sa pagbabasa o pananaliksik, at higit sa lahat mabawasan ang out of school youth na kabilang sa kanilang komunidad.

Hangarin din nitong mapabilang sa mga Barangay Reading Center (BRC) sa Bikol na kinikilala at nagiging benepisyaryo ng National Library ng bansa.

Kasalukuyang may labing-isang BRC sa Bikol at siyam mula rito ay mulang Lungsod Naga at tig-isa sa Munisipalidad ng Pasacao at Pili.

Naisakatuparan ang pangangalap ng mga aklat na ibinahagi sa binuksang reading center sa pangunguna ng ADNU SHS Library at sanib-puwersang inorganisa ng mga laybraryan mulang Basic Education, Tersiyari, at Law School ng AdNU.

Maliban sa pagiging haylayt ng buong linggong selebrasyon sa pamantasan ng National Book Week na sinimulan nang Nobyembre 20, inspirasyon sa pananaliksik ng ilang laybraryan ng AdNU ang pagbubukas ng espasyo para sa pagkatuto ng mga lokal sa iba’t ibang barangay sa Bikol.
