Cheers to the one that weโve got ๐งด๐พ
Letโs all get ready as we welcome another project under DIGDI. A project ready to revolutionize the concrete industry.
Let's get that trash of yours to their proper places, and make the best out of it. Throw plastics in our bins and letโs make bricks out of them.
Tomorrow, together let's open this chapter, see you in Xavier!

Alexander Bardet, a French systems and environment engineer visited Project DIGDI last August 25-29, 2022.
Mr. Bardet also delivered a talk on Systems Thinking to selected students from the College of Sciences, Engineering & Architecture. As part of his internship with Coastal Cities at Risk Philippines, he immersed himself in the CCARPH-related projects in Naga and Camarines Sur.
On his 5-day visit, he experienced panel fabrication using recycled concrete aggregates for Project DIGDI. He then analyzed the systems of the Project and provide feedback to better the replication of the project in the future.

The Civil Engineering students major in Construction Engineering and Management experienced the panel fabrication for ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐๐๐ญ ๐๐๐๐๐ last August 25-26, 2022 at the Barangay Covered Court of Panicuason, Naga City.
Each student moulded one wall panel which will be used in the project. The wall panels maximized ๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐๐

The Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Science, Technology and Society, and Natural Sciences students of Ateneo de Naga University attended the Systems Thinking last August 26 2022 during Alexandre Bardet's visit to Naga City for the project DIGDI as part of his internship in CCARPH. He discussed both the systematic and analytic thinking that can influence how we solve complex problems which later can be developed as a StartUp.

Mr. Alexandre Bardet, a CCARPH (ADMU) Intern, will give a lecture on Systems Thinking to the Ateneo de Naga University engineering and natural sciences majors. Systems Thinking is a powerful approach for understanding the WHY of the PROBLEMS, and how we can better solve them.
Coastal Cities At Risk PH (CCARPH) is one of the partners of Project DIGDI, a project that aims to create a self-sustaining, disaster-resilient house made of Recycled Coarse Aggregate Concrete (RCAC) with a clean water system, built-in rainwater catchment facility, aquaponics system, solar-powered radio communication system, domestic liquid waste-treatment system, Mobile Cloud technology, and communal cooking area with a water heater.
This is an onsite event on August 26, 2022, at 3PM, Arrupe Convention Hall.

To keep the fire ablaze, the Civil Engineering Students of Ateneo de Naga University experienced the Fabrication of Wall Panels during one of the weeks of their on-the-job training. Thumping, Aggregate Crushing, Sieving, and fabrication are among their learnings that they can use in the future.
The students acknowledge that the fabrication of walls was among the most memorable experiences of the junior engineer journey .

To keep the fire ablaze, the Civil Engineering Students of Ateneo de Naga University experienced the Recycled Concrete Aggregate crushing during the first week of their on-the-job training. Thumping, Aggregate Crushing, Sieving, and fabrication are among their learnings that they can use in the future.
The students acknowledge that crushing was the most tiring and exhausting part, however, it is also the most enjoyable and most memorable part of OJT.

Living sustainably and disaster risk-free is the key to empowering the community. Project DIGDI understood that improvements can only happen when learned and measured through education.
A successful exchange of information with Ateneo Innovation Center (AIC) and the Borromeo Family was held on October 28, 2021. The forum took the discussion in understanding the responsibilities and the technology that will be applied to the homes of beneficiaries.
