As one community, Universidad de Sta. Isabel de Naga, Inc. joins the 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝘀𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝘀𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗸𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗻 - 𝗔𝗹𝗱𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗯𝗶 𝗸𝗮𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝗮 this Wednesday, October 01, 2025, at the USI and Peñafrancia Basilica Minore Grounds, as we stand united for truth, integrity, and justice. Together, let us rise against corruption and fight for a nation built on honesty and fairness.

We enter into the Month of October dedicated once more to the ever Virgin Mary under her title as the Lady of the Rosary. The Marian month of October reminds us of the significance of the rosary as “a school of contemplation and silence.” This popular Marian prayer is a precious spiritual means to grow in intimacy with Jesus, and to learn at the school of the Blessed Virgin always to fulfil the God’s will. Likewise, we also celebrate this month World Mission Sunday in which we recall also the apostolic dimension of the Rosary, wherein as a Vincentian institution we draw inspiration from it to carry out the many charitable initiatives and works of human and social promotion here in our university as well as in our respective communities.

On this Second Day of our Triduum in honor of St. Vincent de Paul we reflect on the theme "Vincentians: Faithful Servants of Selfless Charity." We thank our Mass Sponsor from the Higher Education Department represented by the USI - Central Student Government, Governors and Mayors of their respective programs and classes. In a most special way we express our heartfelt gratitude to our presider and preacher Rev. Fr. Jed Anthony F. Peña from the Holy Rosary Minor Seminary.

As one university community let us celebrate with great joy the feast of St. Vincent de Paul.

In our preparation for the Centenary of the Canonical Anniversary of the miraculous image of Our Lady of Peñafrancia as well as the great celebration of her Solemnity we also look forward to September as a special month for the Vincentian Family, marked by various liturgical commemorations of saints and blessed who, by their lives, exemplified the Vincentian values of humility, simplicity and charity. This month is, therefore, a propitious occasion to celebrate and reflect on the legacy of love and service to others left by these saints.

Our dear Vincentians, let us celebrate the month of September with much jubilation and hope!

We welcome into our University Community on August 22, 2024 the Queen of the Bikol region, our INA, Nuestra Señora de Peñafrancia. Her Pagsungko not only heightens our anticipation for her feast but also as a fitting preparation as we commemorate the Centennial Anniversary of her Canonical Coronation this year with the theme: “Siempre la Reina, Pamanang Banal: Atamanon, Padanayon, Palakupon” (A Divine Inheritance: Nourish, Preserve, Share).

Let us therefore be guided by the schedule of this year’s PAGSUNGKO NI INA together with her Son, the Divino Rostro in our university.

As we journey with INA, let our hearts and voices joyfully resound with cries of devotion.

VIVA LA VIRGEN! VIVA LA NUESTRA SEÑORA DE PEÑAFRANCIA.

On August 15 we shall celebrate the Solemnity of the Assumption into heaven of Mary Most Holy, the Mother of Jesus and our spiritual Mother. Having been so close to her Son all through his life, and especially in the most important moments, Mary’s assumption into heaven , body and soul, is the crowning glory of the many extraordinary gifts she has received from the Blessed Trinity in view of her role as the Mother of the Redeemer.

It is only fitting that we join the universal Church as one University community in thanking God for the gift of a mother. We enjoin you for a Solemn Eucharistic Celebration on August 15, 2024, 8:30 in the morning at the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Chapel.

Mary’s Assumption is an encouragement to all of us to respond to God’s graces with equal generosity as such her assumption becomes also a foreshadowing of what God has in store for us at the end of time.
