Today marks my last day of service as Dean of the College of Architecture and Design.
It has been a profound privilege to serve as the College’s founding Dean for the past three years. Establishing CA+D in March 2023 was no easy task, particularly with limited resources, yet through perseverance, collaboration, and shared commitment, we overcame numerous challenges and achieved meaningful progress. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have been part of the College’s foundation and growth.
My sincere appreciation goes to the BISCAST Administration for its guidance and continued support, to the faculty for their dedication and professionalism, and to the students for their trust, resilience, and passion. I am equally thankful to our industry partners for their collaboration and belief in our vision.
Despite being the smallest college in the institution, our unified efforts led to significant milestones—Level III Program Accreditation, recognitions in national and local competitions, and engagement in international initiatives. These achievements affirm that strength is not measured by numbers, but by solidarity, purpose, and commitment.
As we welcome the College’s new leader, I encourage everyone to continue supporting CA+D with renewed fervor and shared responsibility. I remain confident in the College’s future and proud of what we have built together.
Onward to greater heights for CA+D! Dios Mabalos!
