𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝟮𝟱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟭𝟬𝟬-𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺

Naga City, Camarines Sur | Twenty-five (25) trainees attended the Orientation Seminar for English Proficiency Program (EPP) Class 108 at the Southeast Asian Institute of Computer Technology (SEAict) on September 1, 2026. The EPP Department Head and trainers led the 9:00 AM to 12:00 NN session, which covered program expectations ahead of the 100-hour training.

The EPP builds trainees' oral, written, and comprehension skills to meet employment standards in industries such as BPO, tourism, and trade. Trainees will undergo a final assessment upon completion to gauge their readiness for employment in both local and international job markets.

The initiative underscores a shared priority between SEAict and the Province of CamSur, through Governor Lray Villafuerte: expanding access to certified technical-vocational training for the province's workforce. The 100-hour course is expected to conclude on October 29, 2026.

All enrolled trainees of the upcoming class (EPP Class 108) are advised to attend the orientation and bring their lacking requirements on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 9:00 AM. You may proceed to the FBS NCII Room on the second floor of the building or ask for the assistance of our front desk officer for accurate directions.

Additional interested trainees who wish to participate may leave us a message now and bring their complete requirements to the orientation. We will only accept late enrollees until Friday, August 28, 2026.

The English Proficiency Program (EPP) has extended the enrollment period by one week, moving the deadline for submission of documentary requirements from August 14 to 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟭, for the upcoming 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁-𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀.

Applicants who have already submitted their complete requirements are asked to patiently wait as the recruitment team finalizes the schedule for orientation and the start of classes.

𝗦𝗹𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲. Interested individuals may send a message to the official EPP page to begin the admission process.

Applicants who confirmed their intent to participate but have not yet submitted their complete requirements are reminded that their slots are not automatically secured. They must submit a complete set of requirements on or before August 21 to confirm enrollment.

Naga City, Camarines Sur | The English Proficiency Program (EPP) conducted the orientation seminar for EPP Class 107 on July 13, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, drawing a number of trainees from Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) – Calabanga Campus, facilitated by the EPP Department Head and trainers. The orientation precedes a 100-hour training cycle, aimed at developing trainees' oral and written English competence for workplace-level communication, which is a skill officials cited as key to employability and broader professional opportunity.

The activity reflects coordinated institutional roles of SEAict as an accredited training provider, CBSUA-Calabanga through its extension and employability initiatives, TESDA's competency-based standards, and the Province of CamSur's, through the steadfast support of Governor Lray Villafuerte, continued support for province-wide skills access.

Training proper begins following orientation, with completion set for July 30, 2026.

On June 7, 2026, the EPP Class 106 B engaged in a modified classroom debate focused on the topic of making birth control available for sale over the counter. The discussion explored several key aspects of this important issue, including the socioeconomic implications of removing prescription barriers, the significance of provider screenings to determine medical necessity, and the prevailing trends in global public health.

This interactive exercise was not merely an academic discussion; it was an invaluable opportunity for students to sharpen their research skills, apply evidence-based reasoning, and engage in respectful, constructive discourse. We commend everyone who participated for their thoughtful insights and for significantly enriching our understanding of this vital issue!
