Today, we commemorate World AIDS Day, a global movement dedicated to raising awareness, ending stigma, and honoring the strength and resilience of people living with HIV.

Every December 1, we are reminded that HIV is not just a medical issue—but a social, emotional, and community concern. Despite decades of progress, many still face misinformation, judgment, and limited access to proper healthcare. That is why awareness events like this matter. Knowledge saves lives, and compassion sustains them.

This observance aims to:
🔴 Promote accurate information about HIV transmission, prevention, and treatment
🔴 Raise awareness about the importance of early testing and consistent care
🔴 Support individuals living with HIV and recognize their stories and courage
🔴 Break stigma and misconceptions that continue to harm communities
🔴 Empower students and participants to become advocates for inclusivity and health education

HIV is manageable with proper treatment, and people living with HIV can live long, healthy lives. But stigma remains the biggest barrier—one we can only break through education, advocacy, and empathy.

Join us as we come together to learn more, engage in meaningful discussions, and reaffirm our commitment to a world where every individual is treated with dignity and respect. 🫂

Today, November 30, 2025, we honor the birth and patriotism of one of the Philippines ' greatest heroes, Andrés Bonifacio, the "Father of the Philippine Revolution". His thirst for freedom against the Spanish colonizers paved the way for the freedom we enjoy today.

Andrés Bonifacio was courageous, determined, and deeply devoted to the freedom of Filipinos. He stood for integrity, unity, and most importantly, justice. These are the values that pushed him to lead the revolution against the Spanish colonizers' abuse and oppression.

We must honor his legacy not just by remembering his love for the Philippines, but also by fighting the ongoing corruption that continues to harm the very country that he gave his life for. If we allow corruption and abuse of power to grow, we are just letting history repeat itself and waste Andrés Bonifacio's sacrifices.

According to the World Health Organization and United Nations partners (2025), about 850 million women worldwide have experienced physical and/or sexual violence by a partner or sexual violence by a non-partner, at least once in their lifetime.

Every woman deserves to live in a society where they are free from fear, abuse, and discrimination. Standing up, speaking out, and supporting survivors are small but powerful steps we can take every day.
