LOOK: The University of the Philippines, through the UP Open University (UPOU), in partnership with the Philippine National Police (PNP), launched the Police Open Academy (POA) last 12 September 2022.

The Police Open Academy is an online learning platform that promotes open and distance education in law enforcement. Inspired by UPOU’s mode of instruction, POA aims to institutionalize open and distance education in law enforcement.

- To join classes, follow the following instructions:
1. Fill out the enrollment form. https://forms.gle/ssJBDpTBW2KfPhhM6
2. Join the Google classroom for the class. It is indicated on the image and caption for each class.
3. Check the live class’ schedule and the Gmeet link also indicated in the image and caption of the class.
4. Join every scheduled Gmeet.

TERMS and GUIDELINES
- The price per session starts at 200 for groups depending on the levels (2+ members). Price varies for individual sessions. Kindly inquire.
- Individual sessions’ schedules vary depending on the availability based on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- I recommend parents to assist during sessions of Kindergarten to Grade 3 learners.
- The trial class (first class) is free.
- Joining classes is on voluntary basis. You can decide if you will attend the classes or not.
- Payment for the class is made a day before the scheduled Gmeet using the pre-registration and payment form to be sent to you via classroom and direct message. Payments are refundable and transferrable to another date if necessary.
- No payment means no admission during Gmeet. Special arrangements for payments can be agreed upon.
- The Google meet link is fixed and can be found in Google Classroom.
- The Google Classroom will be used for tracking the lessons discussed in the group for announcements, communication, and recording purposes. Activities and lesson guides will also be uploaded here. Be sure to always check them before joining the Gmeet.
- No assignment shall be given. The class is for enriching the English language, literacy, and numeracy of the learners.
- My advocacy is cultivating metacognition and self-regulation among independent learners across all levels.
- All concerns can be done through my messenger, Gmail, or Google classroom.
- All interested learners can enroll throughout the year.
