UNC - Office of Student Affairs The Office is one of the SAS ( Student Affairs & Services) units along with the Guidance, Career Cen OBJECTIVES:
1. PROGRAMS AND SERVICES
1.

To initiate different growth activities focusing on improving
leadership, self-management, organization, management
and development skills
2. To develop and implement programs that promote self sustaining
growth in order to aid the students in forming
themselves into whole persons and to positively influence
others in the pursuit of Truth, Wisdom and Knowledge for the
service of God, Country and Humanity
3. To produce a pool of pro-active, vision-oriented leaders
committed to the actual involvement of their fellow students
and themselves towards the actualization of the University
Mission Statement in their various activities
4. To implement programs that include the development of
integrated sense of identity, characterized by high self-esteem
and personal integrity that extends beyond the individual to
the larger community and global society
5. To promote social development among students by
encouraging them to be members of accredited student
organizations
6. To supervise student publications to ensure responsible
campus writing and proper fiscal management. Leadership Training
Under this program, the OSA conducts training for leadership
and organizational development.
2. Accreditation of Student Organizations
Student organizations are evaluated and accredited as being
supportive of the mission statement of the University.
3. Selection of Outstanding Students UNC
The DSA office maintains a record of students with exemplary
performance in their chosen field of disciplines and in nonacademic
endeavors. The office encourages these students
to apply for and support their application for recognition by
private and public groups in the provincial, regional, national
and international levels. The office also provides students
access to training and leadership opportunities sponsored by
training groups.
4. Supervision of Student Publications
The office supervises the student publications to ensure
responsible campus writing and fiscal management of the
student paper.

As the academic year 2022-2023 approaches, the University Student Government marks the end of one era and the beginning of another as they will be conducting its "Mass Oath-Taking Ceremony" with the theme, "LIDER: Lasting initiative Directed Towards Empowerment and Responsibility". This event shall promulgate the acceptance of responsibility bestowed upon the new set of leaders and kickstart their journey towards providing a delightful experience to their constituents. It will be held on July 29, 2022 (Friday), from 2:00 pm- 3:30 pm at Robinsons Place Naga Atrium.
