Mathematics Department holds first departmental forum

June 19, 2026 โ€” After the Teacher Education Department of Naga View Adventist College (NVAC) conducted its orientation and election of officers, the Mathematics Department held its first departmental forum for the academic year.
The program started with an opening prayer led by Ms. Ayhen Gatongay. After the prayer, the students from each year level were introduced. The freshmen were introduced first, followed by the sophomores, juniors, and seniors. This gave everyone a chance to get to know one another and welcome the new students into the department.
One of the highlights of the forum was the election of the Mathematics Department officers. Students actively participated in choosing the leaders who will represent the department for the school year. At the end of the election, Jazzen Nulla was elected as the new Department President.
The forum ended successfully, giving Mathematics students a chance to meet each other, and begin the school year with a stronger sense of unity and teamwork.
