Naga City CHARTER'S DAY—June 18—commemorates our homeland's greatest event in its history. Hence, marking this day a special, non-working holiday for Nagueños to highlight their part in our City's progress. Way back 1948, Naga City received its independency. As independence was granted, then followed: political autonomy, local governance, and community growth.

Carolina National High School cordially celebrates our homeland's self-sufficiency and advancement. Therefore, there are: NO CLASSES TOMORROW.

𝗪𝗘 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗦𝗔𝗗 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗠𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚

With heavy hearts, we, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), extend our deepest sympathy and condolences to the family, friends, classmates, and loved ones of Marian R. Biñas and Michelle R. Biñas, learners of Salunguigui National High School, who tragically passed away on June 10, 2026, due to a fire.

We are saddened and mourning the untimely loss of two young lives whose memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved them. During this difficult time, let us come together as one community to offer our prayers, support, and compassion to all those who have been deeply affected by this heartbreaking tragedy.

May their souls rest in eternal peace, and may their families find strength, comfort, and healing through the love, support, and prayers of everyone around them.

Our thoughts and prayers are with their families and loved ones during this time of sorrow.

Bilang paggunita sa katapangan, pagkakaisa, at pagmamahal sa bayan ng mga Pilipinong nagbuwis ng kanilang buhay para sa ating kalayaan, ang Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) ay nakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng Araw ng Kalayaan ngayong ika-12 ng Hunyo.

Sa araw na ito, nagbibigay-pugay tayo sa mga bayaning nagbigay-daan sa ating malaya at mas maunlad na kinabukasan. Nawa’y magsilbi itong paalala na ang tunay na kalayaan ay hindi lamang isang karapatan, kundi isang responsibilidad na dapat pangalagaan at gamitin para sa ikabubuti ng ating kapwa at ng ating bansa.

Parents, teachers and other school stakeholders were gathered this morning at Carolina NHS covered court for the 1st General Parent-Teacher Association Assembly. The School head, Ma'am Lorena Gonzales opened the program discussing DepEd's Mission, Vision and Goals as well as the role of parents and teachers in school.
