The ๐๐๐๐๐บ๐ฝ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ผ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ด๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ก๐ฎ๐ฏ๐๐ป๐๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป, ๐๐ป๐ฐ. (๐๐๐ก), through its ๐๐ผ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ด๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐๐๐๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป (๐๐๐๐), formally solidified its partnership with the ๐ญ๐ญ๐๐ต ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ด๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐๐ป๐ถ๐๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ฝ (๐ญ๐ญ๐ฅ๐๐๐), ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ, ๐ฃ๐ต๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ ๐๐ฟ๐บ๐ (๐ฃ๐) through a ๐ ๐ฒ๐บ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐๐บ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ด๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ (๐ ๐ข๐) ๐ฆ๐ถ๐ด๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐บ๐ผ๐ป๐ held on August 6, 2026, at the ACN Basic Education Function Hall.
The event, themed "๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ฝ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ," marked a significant step in institutionalizing the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program within the college, aligning with the mandates of Republic Act No. 9163, or the National Service Training Program (NSTP) Act of 2001.
The ceremony commenced with an opening prayer and the singing of the National Anthem, setting a solemn tone for the proceedings. In her welcome remarks, School President Sr. Myrna D. Taganas, fma, emphasized the institution's commitment to holistic education and nation-building through the program.
Dr. Dhan Timothy Ibojo, Program Chair of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Department, who also served as Master of Ceremonies, provided the rationale and overview of the MOA. He underscored that the agreement is a mechanism to instill patriotism, moral virtues, and civic consciousness among the youth, in line with the NSTPโs objectives.
Ms. Janice N. Sipin, MEd Stud., Student Services Director, introduced the signatories and guests, highlighting the collaborative effort between the academic institution and the military.
The highlight of the program was the formal signing of the MOA between Sr. Myrna D. Taganas, fma representing the First Party (ACN), and Col Calixto D Cadano Jr ART (GSC) PA, Group Commander of the 11RCDG, representing the Second Party. It was witnessed by Prof. Delfin J. Enargan, MA, LTC Mark Serapion L Lagud Jr.INF (GSC) PA and Col Noli P Kanashiro INF(GSC) PA. Under the agreement, the 11RCDG will provide and implement the ROTC program, focusing on citizenship training and adherence to the Philippine Constitution.
Following the signing, LTC Lagud Jr. and COL Cadano delivered their respective messages reiterating the Army's support for the program and the shared vision for developing disciplined and patriotic students.
The ceremony concluded with closing remarks from Dr. Juan Chavez Jr., RCrim, JD, DPA, Program Chair of the College of Criminal Justice Education and the Bachelor of Public Administration (BPA), who expressed optimism about the partnership's enduring impact on the students and the community.
