๐๐๐๐ ๐๐: NSTP-CWTS 1 Leads "Lepto Free Tayo" Campaign in Brgy. San Isidro
Yesterday, March 22, 2026, from 8:00 am to 11:00 am, NSTP-CWTS 1 students conducted their first community engagement activity at Barangay San Isidro (Poblacion), Nabua, Camarines Sur, focusing on the Health dimension with the theme: โ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ต๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐ฎ๐: ๐๐ฒ๐ฝ๐๐ผ ๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ ๐ง๐ฎ๐๐ผ.โ
The initiative aimed to raise leptospirosis awareness and equip residents with essential prevention knowledge. Resource Speaker Ms. Hazel Tretasco Tagomata, RN, led insightful discussions on the disease's dangers and the importance of sanitation, making preventive measures clear and actionable for participants.
This activity would not have been possible without the invaluable support and collaboration of the local government. We extend our deepest gratitude to the Barangay Officials headed by the very supportive Barangay Captain, Hon. Jay A. Desquitado, and the very active SK Chairman, Hon. Peter Denz Dela Torre, for their warm hospitality and cooperation. Their leadership, combined with the knowledge shared by Ms. Tagomata, truly made this event a milestone in pursuing a healthier, lepto-free Nabua.
