CSPC, through the Extension and Community Services Office, conducted an orientation for teachers handling the BHumServ Program for PDL students, together with JO1 Marc John Belen. The activity was headed by Extension Director Ms. Daisylen D. Alano, emphasizing the importance of understanding the unique needs and learning experiences of PDL students.

This initiative reflects the strong and continuing partnership between CSPC and BJMP in advancing inclusive education, strengthening support systems, and creating meaningful opportunities for PDL learners as part of their rehabilitation and development.

The Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC), through its Extension and Community Services Office (CSPC-ECSO), successfully conducted "CSPC KliniKalye: A Medical Outreach Program 2026" on July 21, 2026, at the CSPC Gymnasium. This meaningful initiative was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Provincial Health Office and the Provincial Government of Camarines Sur, reflecting a shared commitment to promoting accessible and quality healthcare services for the community.

The medical outreach served as a venue for providing essential healthcare services to senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs), pregnant women, and the CSPC community. Through this initiative, beneficiaries were given the opportunity to receive medical consultations, health assessments, and other basic healthcare services, contributing to the promotion of wellness and the prevention of health-related concerns.

As a higher education institution committed to instruction, research, extension, and innovation, CSPC continues to uphold its mission of bringing responsive and inclusive services closer to the people. In support of the 2026 Brigada Eskwela - an annual program that mobilizes parents, teachers and community partners in preparing Public Schools before the opening of classes , the Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges headed by Dr. Amado A. On May 25, 2026, the CSPC-Extension and Community Services Office (ECSO), through the initiative of Ms. Daisylen D. Alano, Extension Director, and Ms. Ashly Platil, ECSO Staff, successfully conducted an entrance examination at the BJMP Iriga City District Jail under the College Education Behind Bars (CEBB) project. The examination was administered by Ms. Sophia Isobel Occanio and Ms. Abbygail N. Jardinel of the Student Testing Center (STA), with the full support and cooperation of JSUPT. Denver S. Tirao, Acting District Jail Warden, and JO1 Joanna Mae Lumabe-Merilles, Alternative Learning System (ALS) Instructional Manager.

This initiative reflects CSPCโ€™s commitment to providing Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) with access to quality higher education, offering them an opportunity to continue their studies, rebuild their lives, and embrace a new beginning. Day 1โ€“5 Highlights | Inclusive Training of Trainers for Community-Based Emergency Response and Disaster Preparedness

As part of its commitment to promoting safety and strengthening emergency health services in the community, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Baao successfully completed the first five days of the 11-day Inclusive Training of Trainers for Community-Based Emergency Response and Disaster Preparedness held at the Municipal Evacuation Center, Salvacion, Baao, Camarines Sur.

From Day 1 to Day 5, participants actively engaged in lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on activities covering Basic Life Support (BLS), Standard First Aid (SFA), Rope Rescue, and Water Safety and Rescue (WASAR). These sessions provided valuable life-saving knowledge, practical emergency response skills, and essential disaster preparedness techniques.

This initiative continued to strengthen the municipalityโ€™s commitment to building safer, more prepared, and more resilient communities through inclusive learning, teamwork, and capacity-building.

The successful completion of the first five days marked an important step in equipping participants to respond effectively during emergencies and disasters, with preparedness, safety, and service remaining at the heart of community development.

The CSPC-ECSO conducted a community consultation in Barangay Behia, Bagatao Island, Sorsogon last May 21, 2026, led by Extension Director Ms. Daisylen D. Alano and extension staff Mx. Randy G. Dela Torre. The consultation gathered valuable insights from Mr. Marlon M. Martin, COO of the Save the Ifugao Terraces Movement (SITMO), and Dr. Francisco A. Datar, UP Physical Anthropologist, focusing on weaving techniques, styles, marketing, and the preservation of weaving culture and traditions. This initiative supports the continuing efforts of CSPC-ECSO to empower Rinconada communities by enhancing local weaving products and sustaining cultural heritage. The activity was made possible through the assistance of Dr. Rachel D. Casimero, Chief Education Program Specialist of Ched RO V. The office also extends its heartfelt gratitude to Punong Barangay Hon. Realito F. Bose for the warm hospitality and support extended during the visit.
