Today, Toledo National High School conducted a successful Earthquake Drill, spearheaded by the TNHS Disaster Risk Reduction Management Team in coordination with the TNHS Boy Scouts of the Philippines.
The activity aimed to reinforce the โDrop, Cover, and Hold Onโ protocol and ensure that every Toledonian student, teacher, and staff member knows the proper response during seismic events.
Recent seismic activity along the coast of Mindanao serves as a timely reminder that natural disasters do not give warnings. The ground can shake without notice, and in those critical seconds, preparedness becomes our strongest protection.
Through drills like this, we build discipline, awareness, and unity. Because being ready is not about fear, itโs about responsibility. When we know what to do, we protect ourselves and the people around us.
Let this drill be a reminder, safety is a shared duty. Stay alert. Stay informed. Stay prepared.
