Small-scale fishers are too big to ignore!
Today, on the World Day of Social Justice, Mindanao State University at Naawan proudly joins fellow partners in Too-Big-To-Ignore Philippines in advocating for equitable access to resources, protection of municipal waters, and recognition of the vital role of small-scale fisherfolk in food security and coastal sustainability.
As a member of TBTI Philippines, MSUN remains committed to advancing research, policy engagement, and community partnerships that amplify the voices of our coastal communities and uphold social justice in fisheries.
