Water pollution, resulting from untreated waste and chemicals, can spread infectious diseases and harm communities that rely on contaminated water. In addition, exposure to polluted environments can weaken the immune system and increase the risk of chronic illnesses. Clearly, pollution is a major factor that directly threatens human health.

I believe the government should take primary responsibility for controlling pollution.
