Why This Research Journey Feels Different (Part 5 – Final!)

Back in undergrad or even during my master’s, I often wondered, how does my research help real people? It always felt so distant.

But this opportunity changed that mindset. Through this platform, I realized I can actually help improve lives. Especially those in vulnerable sectors.

All those years of study and stats consulting? Now they matter more than ever. 💖

Statistician Turned Project Leader: Full-Blown Proposal Grind (Part 4)

Fast forward to the full-blown writeshop, just two weeks before the final deadline. I joined as project leader, and I brought along my super bright project staff (shoutout to you!! 🧠).

Three sleepless nights editing, polishing, and prepping for another round of critiques from DOST experts and officials. While listening to sessions, nag-edit pa gihapon mi og proposal and forms haha multitasking at its finest!

Then it was my turn to present.

As a statistician, I’ve helped many clients with thesis analysis and research design. That experience REALLY helped.

Methodology is life, as emphasized by the speakers...and thankfully, I knew how to handle that part!
