A devastating fire incident occurred at around 2:00 AM on May 23, 2026 in Lugait, Misamis Oriental affecting one of our fellow students and KAABAG member, 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲, a graduating student from BSED Mathematics.

In line with this, we are knocking on your kind hearts to extend any amount of help and support for our fellow student and his family during this difficult time.

A faculty member shall be evaluated by their (1) students, (2) Department Chairperson, Dean, or Immediate Supervisor, and (3) peers.

We are proud to congratulate Mr. Nathaniel Loping, a fourth-year BSED Major in Mathematics student, for his outstanding achievement in the 3rd National Teacher Education Quiz Bee held on April 27, 2026, where he represented Mindanao State University at Naawan.

He secured Top 1 in the provincial level and earned a Silver Award in the national level, exemplifying excellence and dedication in the field of teacher education.

His success was guided by his coach, Mr. Leemarc C. Alia, a faculty member of the College of Education and Social Sciences (CESS).

The MESH society extends its congratulations and recognizes this achievement as a reflection of the institution’s commitment to developing competent and future-ready educators.

We are happy to announce that one of the students from MSU at Naawan will be competing in the 3rd National Teacher Education Quiz Bee 2026. This is a great opportunity to showcase the wit and excellence of MSUans.

Mr. Nathaniel Riogelon, a 4th-year BSEd student majoring in Mathematics, will represent MSU at Naawan. He will be coached by Mr. Leemarc Alia, MSciEd.

Several schools will compete, and the winner of the provincial qualifying round will represent Misamis Oriental in the National Teacher Education Quiz Bee.

𝗠𝗘𝗦𝗛 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗜𝗰𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

In the morning, students from the Mathematics Educator Student Hub (MESH) showcased their talents and skills as they participated in various literary events. They demonstrated excellence in Bisaya Chain Storytelling, earning 3rd place, secured 4th place in Radio Broadcasting, and achieved 3rd place in the Quiz Bowl. Each student proudly represented MESH through their hard work, confidence, and determination.

During the afternoon program, the event began with the awarding ceremony, where students from various events and categories were recognized for their achievements.

In EduIcon 2026, Ms. Estelle Castillon delivered an outstanding performance, proudly bringing honor to MESH by securing 4th place. Her dedication, preparation, and passion were evident throughout the competition.

The event highlighted the talent, intelligence, and teamwork of MESH students. Their achievements reflected not only their individual abilities but also the strong spirit of unity and excellence within the organization. MESH continues to inspire students to strive for success in both academic and extracurricular endeavors.
