After receiving and reviewing the submitted designs, we now have our final shirt design options for the CELS College Shirt.

After the initial selection process, we have narrowed it down to the shirt designs presented in this post. Since this will be the College Shirt of CELS, we’re giving our students the chance to share their thoughts and vote for the design they want to see represent our college.

The designs presented are the only entries submitted during the designated shirt design submission period. A previous announcement was already posted giving everyone the opportunity to create and submit their own designs, including a reminder that it was the last call for submissions. However, only these designs were submitted.

With that, we kindly ask everyone to respect the effort and creativity of the students who took the time to submit their work. It is completely okay to have your own preference, but we encourage everyone to share their thoughts respectfully and constructively.

Rather than focusing on what could have been submitted, let’s focus on choosing from the designs that were actually submitted and giving proper consideration to the students who participated.

We’re inviting all Animal Science students who are interested in designing to share their creativity, ideas, and unique concepts for our society shirt!

You don’t have to be a professional designer. Whether you love sketching, graphic design, or simply have a concept in mind, we want to see what you can create!

And no, you don’t need to be an artist nga pang-commission level. If you have an idea, go for it! Who knows, your design might be the one we’ll all be wearing.

This is your chance to create something that goes beyond just a shirt. Let’s design something that represents our identity, passion, and pride as Animal Science students.

• The Society Logo must be included in the design.
• Use MAROON and WHITE as the main colors.

Mindanao State University at Naawan is proud to co-host the 𝟭𝟯𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲), an international academic gathering hosted by Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia, through its Faculty of Animal Science and Technology.

With the theme, “Advancing Livestock Farming Systems for Smart Industry, Stronger Farming Communities, and Sustainable Production,” ICIAS 2026 will bring together researchers, academicians, professionals, students, and industry stakeholders to exchange knowledge, present research outputs, and discuss innovations in animal science, livestock production, agribusiness, and related fields.

The conference will be held on 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, through a virtual conference via Zoom.

Research topics include animal products technology, animal nutrition, animal farming management and production, animal reproduction and breeding, agribusiness, and other related subjects.

Some days feel heavier than others, and sometimes, we don’t know how to explain what we’re going through. But even in those moments, you deserve kindness, understanding, and someone who will listen.

During this 𝗦𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵, let’s remember that people don’t always need us to have the right words. Sometimes, they simply need someone who will listen—someone who won’t make them feel like a burden.

And if you’re the one having a difficult time, please remember that you don’t have to explain everything to deserve support. You don’t have to figure everything out today. Take things one day at a time, and remember that reaching out for support is a sign of strength.

Let’s be more mindful of how we speak, more patient with the people around us, and more willing to check in—not because we expect someone to tell us everything, but because we want them to know that they can.

For many freshmen, choosing a course can come with doubts, uncertainties, and questions about where it might lead. But sometimes, the best way to understand the possibilities is to hear from someone who has already walked that path.

Meet 𝑺𝒊𝒓. 𝑺𝒌𝒚 𝑬𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒍𝒅 𝑬𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒍𝒂𝒔 𝑨𝒃𝒂𝒓𝒒𝒖𝒆𝒛, A Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Major in Animal Science graduate whose journey from a student to an international agricultural professional is a true testament to the opportunities this field can offer.

✨ 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚: ✨

Greetings, freshmen! I understand that the term "agriculture" might be unfamiliar to some of you, and it is often misunderstood or underestimated. I recognize that many of you might be hesitant about pursuing this course, but please allow me to share my personal journey from student to my current profession. When I was a first-year student, I found myself in a similar position, questioning and doubting whether I was on the right path by choosing this course. However, as time progressed, my mentors thoroughly explained the numerous opportunities and potential career paths available upon graduation. They provided various engaging experiences, including laboratory work, seminars, field trips, and fieldwork, to make the course more captivating. My mentors played a crucial role in shaping me, developing my skills, and strengthening my physical, mental, and emotional resilience to prepare me for the real world. After I earned my degree, I was presented with numerous opportunities. My first position was as a Farm Supervisor in layer production at Bounty Farm Production in Bukidnon. Following that, I aspired to work international to explore the broader scope of agricultural opportunities. My second role was as a Dairy Worker in Japan for three years, and currently, I have been working as a Senior Dairy Farm Assistant in New Zealand since 2020, where I receive a substantial salary. Furthermore, I have been able to bring my family, my wife and daughter, to join me here. I can attest that with a degree in animal science opens doors to opportunities both locally and internationally. If you aspire to work abroad, you are indeed on the right track, and this is one of the excellent courses that CELS has to offer.

In preparation for our Do Day on 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟰–𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, all students are required to come prepared and bring the necessary cleaning materials, such as:

• 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺
• 𝗦𝗮𝗸𝗼
• 𝗠𝗼𝗽
• 𝗚𝘂𝗻𝗮
• Other cleaning materials that may be needed for your assigned task

For everyone’s safety, please wear 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲. Avoid clothing that may expose you to scratches, bites, or other injuries, especially when working in grassy or outdoor areas where snakes and other hazards may be present. Wearing a face mask is also highly encouraged, as some areas may be dusty during the cleaning activities.

𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥: Students shall attend their regular classes if they are not assigned to the scheduled Do Day activities for that particular day. Please follow your respective schedules and assigned tasks accordingly.

From important announcements and updates to fun moments, meaningful conversations, and good ol’ 𝑨𝒏𝑺𝒄𝒊 𝒄𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆, our GA was a wonderful way to kick off 𝑨.𝒀. 2026–2027 together!

It was an afternoon filled with 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒇𝒖𝒏, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒍𝒂𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒆𝒓 a perfect reminder that being an Animal Science student is more than just academics; it’s about growing and moving forward 𝒕𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓.
