𝙲𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝚟𝚒𝚜𝚒𝚃𝙾𝚄𝚁𝚂:

Ninety (90) students and six (6) faculty members from the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, major in Animal Science and Agronomy, visited the DA–Regional Crop Protection Center X on April 23, 2026, as part of their educational tour for the ANS 196 and AGM 196 (Seminar and Field Trip) courses.

The participants enhanced their knowledge of biological control agents—covering their modes of action, application methods, target pests and diseases, and their relevance in the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) system.

: Students from Davao de Oro State University and MSU–Naawan explored the Philippine Carabao Center at CMU for an enriching educational tour.

The visit featured an overview of PCC’s programs and services, followed by a guided field tour that gave students a closer look at the value chain approach in carabao dairying—from production to processing and beyond.🐃🥛

Mindanao State University at Naawan proudly recognizes its students from the College of Environment and Life Sciences for their participation in the 14th Federation of Agriculture Students in Mindanao (FASMin) Congress 2026, held on April 7–11, 2026 at Northwestern Mindanao State College of Science and Technology in Tangub City, Misamis Occidental.

Competing alongside 19 participating universities, the MSUN delegation secured 10th place in the overall ranking, a testament to their dedication, teamwork, and excellence.

Their achievements reflect the university’s continued commitment to developing competent and future-ready leaders in agriculture and environmental sciences.

With pride and enthusiasm, we celebrate the Animal Science students of MSU–Naawan for their active participation in the 𝟭𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 (𝗙𝗔𝗦𝗠𝗶𝗻) 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, held on 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 7–𝟭𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, in 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗯 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘀 𝗢𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹.

Together with delegates from across Mindanao, these aspiring Animal Science students demonstrated enthusiasm, teamwork and perseverance throughout the event. They proudly showcased their skills, knowledge and passion for the field. May this milestone continue to inspire others to pursue knowledge, leadership and service in agriculture.

The Society expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the College Dean, 𝘿𝙧. 𝙉𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙣 𝘼𝙨𝙥𝙚 for his constant support and encouragement. We also acknowledge the FASMin Coordinator, 𝙈𝙧.
