Excerpt to Edify

Yesterday, I watched a beautiful sunset with my three-year-old daughter. She doesn't fully appreciate it yet, but that's okay. She's still learning.

It reminded me of something special. In the Bible, Jesus is often called the Son of God or the Son of Man. But did you know He is also described as the SUN of righteousness? That's SUN, spelled S-U-N, not Son.

In Malachi 4:2 it says:

"But for you who fear my name, the Sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings."

So next time you see the beauty of the sun, remember the One who created it. All things bright and beautiful, all creatures big and small, every sunrise and sunset, the Lord God made them all.
