Catholic Ming Yuan College, Inc. proudly congratulates its 4 BS Agriculture graduates who passed the Agriculturists Special Professional Licensure Examination held on May 29, 2026.

This achievement marks another milestone for the institution and shows that CMYC graduates remain competitive internationally in pursuing graduate studies and building professional careers abroad. These four women carry the CMYC spirit with them through excellence in the classroom, grit in the field, and faith in every season.

All four Pagkaon Scholars were already working, yet they still continue to pursue advanced studies abroad while building their professional careers.

𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗲 𝗠. 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗯𝗮𝘀, 𝗥𝗔𝗴𝗿., is in the final semester of her master’s degree in the International Master’s Program in Agriculture at National Chung Hsing University, College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Currently, she is conducting a thesis under the Department of Agronomy, focusing on tea production and processing.

𝗟𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘇𝘇𝗮 𝗕. 𝗚𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗼, 𝗥𝗔𝗴𝗿., is also in her final semester of the same IMPA program at NCHU. She chose animal nutrition as her specialization and is now part of the Ruminant Nutrition and Production Systems Laboratory, completing her thesis on the in vitro digestibility of black soldier fly larvae meal in swine diets.

𝗠𝗮. 𝗡𝗶𝗻̃𝗮 𝗘. 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗻𝗲𝘀, 𝗥𝗔𝗴𝗿., 𝗦𝗢𝟮, is about to complete her thesis for her Master of Engineering in Green Technology for Sustainability at Nanhua University, Taiwan.

𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗹 𝗠. 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗲, 𝗥𝗔𝗴𝗿., 𝗠.𝗘𝗻𝗴. 𝗚𝗧𝗦, was already a graduate of the Master of Engineering in Green Technology for Sustainability from Nanhua University and is now focusing on her professional career in Taiwan.

Your hard work and faith carried you through. Their journey reminds us that CMYC education doesn’t end at graduation. It opens doors abroad and builds careers that matter.

The entire CMYC family celebrates with you. We’re so proud of you. This achievement shows what hard work and faith can do. Congratulations, and to God be the highest glory!

CMYC faculty and staff held a team building activity at Mambukal Mountain Resort.

This activity was organized to give a teacher and staff a short break and opportunity to refresh, honoring their hard work and dedication to improving the school and expressing gratitude to their relentless effort.

The day was filled with fun activities as it encourages teamwork and communication among colleagues. Everyone left feeling recharged and more connected, ready to face future challenges with renewed passion.

The event was then succeeded by a Holy Mass celebrated by the school administrator, Rev. Fr. Yongxing Cui before the supper, and this was attended by teachers and staff. The evening concluded on a happy note dinner where everyone talked and laughed, strengthening their bonds.

It was an unforgettable experience that not only strengthened friendships but also strengthened the team for future challenges.

CMYC and MASIPAG Sign Partnership Agreement

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was officially signed on June 1, 2026, at Catholic Ming Yuan College (CMYC) for the project, “MASIPAG and CMYC Partnership for Organic Rice Research, Seed Conservation, and Organic Rice Production.”

Leading the CMYC delegation was School Administrator Rev. Fr. Yongxing Cui, OWC Coordinator Mr. Alex Lecciones, and BSA Program Chair Ms. Flordeliza Ampusta. Present from MASIPAG were Mr. Kervin Bonganciso, Regional Coordinator of MASIPAG Visayas; Mr. Melchor Hilado, Regional Management Team; Dennis Omison, Negros Cluster Area Coordinator; Rodolfo Cortez, Masipag Farmer and NOAB Member; and Wilfedo Pratt, Masipag Farmer Member.

This collaboration strengthens CMYC’s commitment to instruction, research, and extension services while contributing to the sustainable development of farming communities.

Together, CMYC and MASIPAG are cultivating knowledge, sustainability, and progress for a better future.
