On August 12, 2026, the Psychology department, together with the Psychology Society, conducted a Thanksgiving and Send-Off Ceremony in the Sia Hall of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa (PLMun). The program was for upcoming Psychometrician Licensure Examination (PmLE) takers scheduled on August 19 and 20, 2026.
The special and inspiring messages were heard from Dr. Erikson A. Amion, RPm, RPsy, Dean of College of Arts and Sciences, Dr. Elena E. Presnedi, OIC-President of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa, and Dr. Danilo B. Solayao, LPT, vice president of academic affairs. It was stated that the number of passers of PmLE from PLMun had increased.
Thereafter, the candle-lighting and pray-over ceremony began. With faithful and hopeful hearts, the upcoming PmLE takers together with the guest speakers, Psychology department and Psychology Society prayed while holding candles. Afterwards, the alumni psychometricians: Ms. Allyson Joyce Segarra, CHRA, RPm, Ms. Kyle Naomi D. Navarro, CMHFR, RPm, and Ms. Kauline Jade M. Medina, CHRA, RPm, gave their inspiring testimonies, proving that through hard work and faith, you will be able to reach your dream of becoming a psychometrician.
It was followed by closing remarks from Ms. Geneil A. Poblete, MA, RPm, chairperson of the Department of Psychology. The program successfully concluded with a PLMun Hymn. After the event, the upcoming PmLE takers fall in line to have their pencils sharpened by the Psychology department faculty members.
