“𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗸 𝗻𝗮 𝗔𝗸𝗼!”: 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 2026 𝗟𝗘𝗧 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹

To officially welcome students for the new academic year, the Young Educators of Lycean Society (YELS) and the College of Education (COED) conducted its General Orientation on June 15, 2026, at the Audio-Visual Room (AVR), where school administrators, faculty members, and student leaders introduced the programs, services, and expectations that will guide them throughout the school year.

Ms. Sheilla Joy Reyes, YELS Adviser, officially started the event with her welcoming remarks, acknowledging the presence of faculties, school administrators, and students alike.

The Master of Ceremonies, Ruden Amisola, YELS External Vice President, then formally introduced the faculty members. The College of Education, led by Ms. Charito F. Cano, COED Dean; Mr. John Andrew Hipolito; and Mr. AJ Mari Bueno, YELS President discussed the grading system, enrollment report, class schedules, and calendar of activities for the academic year 2026-2027 respectively.

Meanwhile, school administrators from the Office of Student Affairs, Director Ermelyn Guan explained the ins and outs of the Student Handbook, while Director for Planning and Development, Mr. Julius Vincent Buenavidez discussed the qualifications and requirements for Academic Scholars and Dean's Listers.

Aspiring YELS officers from the freshman year then took center stage as the election for the First-Year Representative commenced. Excitement and anticipation filled the venue as students cast their votes, resulting in the election of BSED English Major, Ms. Bernadette Flores, joining YELS as the new First-Year Representative.

The event reached its peak with the LET Passers Courtesy Call, which honored former Eduklasmeyts for their achievements as newly licensed professional teachers.

In her message, Dean Cano congratulated the LET passers and recognized their perseverance and commitment to the teaching profession. She was joined by Ms. Sheilla Joy Reyes in awarding certificates and tokens of recognition to the alumni. The passers also shared their personal testimonies and experiences.

As the program comes to an end, Dean Cano delivered her closing message, emphasizing the quote, “𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙨 𝙖 𝘽𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙆𝙚𝙚𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙨 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙨 𝙎𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨.”

The program concluded with a stronger sense of unity among the Eduklasmeyts as they begin another year of learning.

Today, June 15, 2026, marked the second week of classes of the Academic Year 2026-2027. At the Audio-Visual Room, Eduklasmeyts gathered to attend the College of Education’s General Orientation, spearheaded by YELS and the faculty of the College of Education.

The program is also filled with much-awaited moments, including the introduction of the newly elected officers, the election of the First-Year Representative, and the LET Passers Courtesy Call.

30 May 2026, Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) — Beyond the horizon lies a future shaped by dreams, purpose, and the courage to create meaningful change. The College of Education proudly presents its Class of 2026 as they prepare to embark on new journeys and embrace the opportunities that await them.

Composed of 29 graduates from the Bachelor of Elementary Education Major in General Education, Bachelor of Secondary Education Majors in English, Filipino, and Mathematics, and Bachelor of Technical-Vocational Teacher Education Major in Food Service Management, this graduating class stands as a testament to years of perseverance, growth, and commitment to the noble calling of education.

As they move toward broader horizons, these graduates carry with them the knowledge they have gained, the values they have cultivated, and the aspirations that will guide them in serving others. May they continue to dream bigger, lead with purpose, and help build a better future wherever their paths may take them.

The horizon stretches far ahead, and the College of Education Class of 2026 is ready to meet it.

Among the 29 educators comprising the Class of 2026, one-third of the graduating class has earned Latin Honors, a remarkable testament to their hard work and pursuit of excellence. Leading this distinguished group are two graduates who have attained the honor of Magna Cum Laude, while eight graduates have earned the distinction of Cum Laude.

Their accomplishments reflect countless hours of study, sacrifices made along the way, and a steadfast commitment to their goals. As they cross this milestone and set their sights on new horizons, may these honors serve not only as recognition of their achievements but also as inspiration for the impact they will create in the years ahead.
